Have dined at Fessler’s for a few years now despite living across the river. Always friendly faces to take our orders. I am gluten free and was delighted to find out they have amazing gluten free hoagies. Delicious pizza, crinkle cut fries, and Coke products. What more could we ask for? Nothing. Not a lot of seating but the food was good especially the goetta sandwich the kids meals are nice and plenty of food has a small town feel. Food is quality. I guess my only complaint is the pizza could have been hotter. But I wouldn’t call it cold and I would definitely eat there again.

We tried Fessler’s because of the great things we’ve read online. I understand that people get attached to the places they grew up with. I have to say, the food was ok. I ordered a Stromboli, which was delicious, but the sauce they give to you to dip it in tasted like it was straight from the can, plain old bland tomato sauce. My friend enjoyed his fish and fries, and said the cole slaw was good. This was my second trip, not sure I’ll need a third.

For those that remember Pasquales….this is NOT Pasquales 2.0 not that they claim to. But I keep giving this place a chance and I keep getting dissapointed. The pizza is good, the atmosphere is good and the service is good….but the food is mid. Pizza is better than hoagies. Hoagies (which is a favorite food of mine) is almost bad. Steak and lunchmeat hoagies are DRY. Every. Singe. Time. I should have to pay for extra sauce for it to not be dry or taste the sauce. The steak pattie is good on the steak hoagie, but the lunchmeat hoagies meat is barely there.
