Shibuya is a restaurant in side Blue Mall. Delicious Japanese food! The chao fan, dumplings, and meat rolls were all amazing. The real winner was the dessert — coconut pudding with ice cream — it was absolutely terrific. The service was excellent; the staff was always attentive to our table. I highly recommend this place. Go try it!

Our dinner here was extremely disappointing. They took about 20minutes to take our order even though we said multiple times we were ready. The food took about 40minutes to come out(simple sushi rolls) and other customers who came in before us where served first. Horrible service by the waiters. I’ve never experienced something like this before where the waiters lie and say something is not available and then you ask someone else and they bring it right out.(it was a dessert, guava flan.) So even though the food was good it was just a big mess even at the end when we asked to split the check, between cards, they just divided it equally instead of how we asked them to do it. Take your money somewhere else.

It’s a great place for wagyu and the nigiri’s are fire, the duck dumplings on the other hand not my fav and I had it before will not be having it. The drinks are always bomb. Overall I like this place during week days. Make reservations since it does get packed.

The food was amazing! It was seasoned to perfection and very fresh. I would eat here a million more times. The customer services was very good, the hostess and waiters were so nice and friendly. They made us feel extremely comfortable.

Great food, good service, but we had to wait 30 min for our table, and you are in the middle of the mall, so the atmosphere is not the greatest.

Why didn’t I check the reviews? Why?!?! We arrived early at 500 pm. No one was eating. Just a few tables with people drinking. 4 sushi chefs behind the bar. AND STILL, we waited nearly 30 minutes. We ordered tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi, the ceviche roll and another roll with crispy onions (don’t remember the fish). Everything was terrible except for the salmon. The tuna was not sushi grade, and to make it worse, cut into thick chunky slices. The crispy onions roll was drowned in sauce. Avoid avoid avoid.

Highly recommended trying this Asian fusion restaurant with high quality ingredients and creative combinations. Don’t let the setting in a mall fool you.

The standout and star dish was the tuna tartare with cubes of sesame-coated crispy potato, very tender and large tuna chunks, mixed with aioli and a runny egg.

The ceviche and mint lemonade were also outstanding. One level lower but still good were the crunchy fried rice (a bit too crunchy for our taste) and the shrimp tempura (good but not very different from others). All dishes, while not grease-free, were not overly oily or salty.

The service was a bit slow and less than attentive at times. Dishes came out as they were ready.

My friends recommended this place, it’s in Blue Mall great sushi and rolls!
Didn’t like that they took my chair from table but they were packed and that’s a good sign too!

I visited Shibuya Ichiban at Blue Mall and found myself amidst an upscale atmosphere surrounded by high-end stores. The food was good, though a bit overpriced for what you get. My initial visit was marred by a lack of service, perhaps influenced by our nationality – my Dominican girlfriend, who is multilingual, and does not look her ethnicity was seemingly ignored. Thankfully, a very kind manager named Angel stepped in, addressing us in both English and Spanish. In order to make amends, he reserved a table for us on a scheduled return visit and crafted a delightful custom meal for us. The second experience was far more enjoyable, especially the exceptional dish prepared just for us.
I would have rated 1-star if it wasn’t for Angel, he truly was what his name says.
Furniture, I’d recommend the sister restaurant named SBG across the way which he also manages. Service was much better there, thanks to a wonderful waiter named Javier.

You are in a mall and now with covid the tables are really far apart which detriments the dinning experience a little, but you forget it right away! Food is great, portions too. One really cohesive menú. All the drinks with sake are a must.

The Japanese salad as an entrance is perfect, the Gyosa was small but so tasty.

Great place to go with friends.
