I was told this place was the best ‘non chain’ restaurant in the area so I sped to the location. Tucked away behind the circle K gas station, with ample parking, the building gave off strong southern nostalgia vibes, remnants and articals of times gone by. Inside, more of the same, clean and well lit, but what was noticeably absent was the smokey smell of bbq. The staff were attentive and welcoming, warm smiles and soft voices greeted me. I ordered the brisket, another order of chicken and a few sides, corn nuggets, potato salad and macaroni and cheese. The first plate of brisket was clearly old meat that had seen better days, foul smelling and leathery in texture, I gestured to the server to please take it away, honestly I was highly offended that as a human being she would serve me something not even fit for an animal. But she politely took the platter of poison away and in less than a minute returned with a fresh, hot platter of tender juicy brisket! I wondered why she didn’t serve me this at the start. Everything was present with the brisket but the flavor, I’ve had water with more flavor. Im posting photos to verify my account. On to the bbq sauce, I noticed that the sauce had the name of a local chain known throughout Florida, then I noticed that the side dishes bore the same name..thus is no longer a mom and pop restaurant, it’s a chain restaurant disguised as a local joint. The chicken and all of the sides failed the taste test. You may as well go to the chain, you are not going to get a different experience. I didn’t make a fuss, I just took the food away and left disappointed, my quest for bbq in the region continues.

A nice, fast casual bbq joint. Grateful to have an option close to the Tesla charging station at the bowling alley. Their menu was pretty simple and straight forward. The turkey sandwich and sauces were good and it’s a clean, well kept environment.

I know if you are a local then you already know about this place or you’ve just moved here and you really need to try it.. My family and I walked into this place after driving all day. We read some reviews. It seemed nice and we thought let’s give it a try. From the moment you walk in the heavenly smell of slow cook cooked barbecue meets you like a welcome friend. JULLIAN is the most courteous and helpful host who took our order, answered our questions was pleasant throughout the entire experience. When she wasn’t busy running the front and taking orders, she was roaming around the dining room, making sure everyone was happy and had everything they needed. There is nothing on the menu from mains, to sides, to desserts that you will not find absolutely tasting homemade and deliciously flavored!! I saw on the window as I was leaving that this is a franchised business. If that is the case, get your phone out right now, search this place, this place and see where the closest one is and get in your vehicle now and get there as soon as possible to experience this food. It was incredible on every level.

Wonderful experience! From the first step in the door, everyone was kind and friendly. I ordered the 3 meat combo with 2 sides. Pulled pork, ribs, and smoked sausage with baked beans and cole slaw. Every fork or spoonful was awesome. The pork I ate with no sauce and loved it. Many places I have been already have their pork slathered in sauce, which tells me the meat is probably not that great. Here it comes with no sauce (they not trying to hide anything), and it has a good smokey flavor on it’s own. However, they do have sauce if you would like to add some. I can’t think of a single negative thing to add. Definitely will return anytime I pass through again.

My family and I decided to try Willie Jewels BBQ after a friend’s recommendation, and it did not disappoint! I planned my day around this meal, ensuring I was ready to fully enjoy every bite. The chicken disappeared first! Lol. I must say the food exceeded my expectations, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We will definitely be stopping by again on our next visit!

Walked in and placed an order for a 2 meat meal. 1st they had a sign up stating that they didn’t have corn bread or green beans. I ordered pulled pork with chicken quarter. Meat was decent. The chicken wasn’t dry but I didn’t get much smoke flavor. The pulled pork was also lacking a good smoke flavor. Sides were french fries and collards. The fries were not greasy but just so so. The collards were not very tender but had a good flavor.
Restaurant was pretty clean and the girl that took the order was very nice.
