View of the river is superb from either the deck or from the dining room.
Service was good.

What a cool place. The food was great, the visit was quirky, the owner was amazing, and it sounds like there are good things to come at this quirky must visit hidden gem. If you like a good murder mystery don’t miss out on the next one she puts on. We had prime rib Philly’s, and the pastrami Rachel. Both were great.

All was wonderful with the exception of the bar not being reasonably stocked. Cranberry Juice is commonly used & unable to make simple daiquiri’s. Service was AMAZING! I think the young woman’s name was Caroline? Food was delicious & the view of the river is breathtaking

Great day for a drive so we decided to take a ride (short) to Shady Cove. Macs Diner right on the Rogue River with a great view. Lots of interesting decor with a life size Elvis to greet at the dining room entrance. Nice booths with a nostalgic vibe and big windows looking out. Prompt service with specials announced which we both locked in on. Steak salads (pic included) were on our table in just the right timing for us to settle in and watch the water flow by. Fresh greens, tender steak, and lots of interesting crunchy stuff made for a great lunch. Yes, I’m liking it great choice for folks on the way or coming back from Crater Lake.

This restaurant has a beautiful terrace on the river, where you can enjoy a nice view while having your meal. The people are very kind and the food was excellent. There was live music, two nice guys doing very good music, so we enjoyed the night a lot. Excellent!
