A cozy gem in Winter Garden!
I grabbed a crème brûlée oat milk latte from Axum and it was delicious. What made it even better was the cozy alleyway seating… it’s the perfect tucked-away nook to sip and relax. Great vibes, friendly service, and I’ll definitely be back.

We were in Winter Garden and wanted to grab a coffee, so we decided to stop by Axum Coffee, a local coffee shop in the area.
The cafe boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere, offering a diverse selection of coffee options to choose from. I ordered an iced black coffee and also picked up a bag of their coffee beans to take home.
The coffee was fresh, smooth, and well-balanced, with just the right amount of taste and no unnecessary sweetness. I loved my coffee and would recommend Axum Coffee if you’re looking for a quality coffee stop in Winter Garden.

Their coffee is consistently smooth, bold, and full of flavor—especially refreshing on a cool winter evening. I’m extremely disappointed. I’ve been coming to this café at least three times a week for the past several months, consistently. I’ve come alone in the mornings and with my 2-year-old daughter in the afternoons, sometimes even more than once in the same day.
Even though the Wi-Fi is very unreliable and it’s extremely difficult to work here because I constantly have to switch between different networks and still run into problems, I kept coming because I generally liked the place and the atmosphere.
However, what happened yesterday was the reason I’m leaving this review. Around 5:30 PM, I bought two hot chocolates, one for me and one for my daughter (the small cup). Unfortunately, my daughter didn’t want to drink it right away, but a little later she did. I went back to the counter and politely asked if they could warm it up for her.
The employee told me they couldn’t because the microwave wasn’t working. I honestly find that unacceptable for a café. My daughter ended up crying, and I had to deal with a full tantrum. Of course I wasn’t going to buy another hot chocolate just to have it served warm again.
I’m extremely disappointed, and as a loyal customer, I expected much better. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of basic service and the way this situation was handled. I do not recommend this place and I won’t be coming back.
