Was asked to wait be there shortly
They weren’t that busy
Could hardly hear waitress when she spoke. Was never greeted.
Took are drink and food order so we didn’t have to ask.
Every restaurant has one bad experience, guess it was us. We you’re always go there when we came to town. But no more we will look for another eating experience.
Every one seemed to be bothered.

Great family owned business, food is authentic and has amazing flavor! As a California transplant, we ONLY will eat here for Mexican food!! Their food is just like our home town food and we are obsessed! Everyone is so friendly and inviting! Portions are huge, tortillas are made fresh, and prices are great! Their chicken enchiladas, burritos, tacos, menudo & tamales are some of our favorites! Hands down, the absolute best Mexican food in the area!

WOW! AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE. This was our first experience here and will not be our last. Everything was great. Bring an appetite because the portions are excellent. If you leave hungry then you have other issues haha. The food was so flavorful. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They do have their own food challenge, for those who are feeling really, really, really hungry. It’s a seven (7) pound burrito with everything, well almost everything, in the kitchen goes into this monster. Finish it in 45 minutes and it’s free, you get a t-shirt for your efforts.
I will warn you of the following, consider sharing a plate. The portions are generous, do not underestimate this. If you don’t want to share, you’ll have at least one more meal, if not two, in left overs.

If anyone is ever wondering how amazing the food is, read this review. Not only did they cater my son’s 15th birthday party for today, but it was last minute booking. I got so many compliments on how wonderful the food tasted, and the wanting to know “who made it”, there was no need for salt or missing anything, the wonderful lady Rosa and her familia really put love and patience in making 200 birria tacos, espaghetti verde, with all the sides and tamales as well. My son and family and friends really appreciate all the hard work yall put in to feed everyone tonight. Especially myself and David. Thank you all so much. You’re the greatest at what you all already do. It was very delicious, my son sends his thanks.

This is our must stop mexican food restaurant on our way to Dallas. The birria is amazing…and the birria pizza is a must if you have a group to feed. It’s a great hole in the wall restaurant with a lot of heart! They serve full menu in the morning.

Im not Hispanic or of Mexican descent. But I have been to Mexico, and lived in the Houston metropolitan area. There are almost as many tacoreases as there are people! And almost all of them are owned and operated by Family members of Hispanic immigrants. Some Of Them are pretty good. But I my opinion the Gutierrez family has been my go to spots for some very good authentic Mexican food. Good sized servings of the best fajitas north of the Reo Grande River!! The sopapeas are out of this world. The Chile Reanoes are 2nd to none! The Margaret’s are mucho Grande! I think the dining room is comfortable, but can be a little bit crowded during the peak dining time. But the food and the Mareocho band are well worth any wait time. Great food, Great service, Great price. I have never finished all my food on the lunch plates, or dinner.
