Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This place is fantastic, I don’t know the workers name but there was a worker who is very sweet very outgoing and helped us out to get an order for my very picky fiance. I got to try the new Barry freeze and honestly my new favorite drink, the server who gave me the drink was really sweet and honestly looks like he made a heart into the drink. As someone who doesn’t get Whataburger a lot as it’s not in my part of the country coming down here to visit family I’m getting to eat my favorite restaurant it’s a great environment is top tier 10 out of 10.

If you use the drive thru, you better check every single item or you will be missing part of your order. My order wasn’t complicated. All you had to do is count to two. And don’t even bother complaining to the manager because he will offer you “free food” although you already paid for it. This is the third time in a row that our order was missing items or unedible. Save your time and money by going to Burger King, Sonic, or McDonald’s.

When I come back home to Texas from driving over the road for a few weeks, this is the first Whataburger inside a truck stop that’s on my way. I make sure to stop by every time. Open 24/7. Friendly service and the food is always hot and fresh. There is room for eight trucks in the back.

Found myself having morning cravings for some biscuits and gravy. You cant not try it without their famous jalapeño biscuits. What a real treat. Customer service was quick and polite so kiddos to the team. B&G Is actually priced adequately so makes for a quick hearty breakfast. Definitely a must try.
