We had a pretty good experience at Casa Serrano. The carne Asada was delicious. We thought the crispy shell fish tacos were tasty, but I think we will stick to meat next time. I got the homemade Sangria which was good but, personally, was too acidic for my stomach. I do have issues with red wine.
The food came timely and was fresh and hot despite their restaurant being understaffed. We did talk to the manager about this, and we understand that Laughlin has town wide staffing issues.
We would come back again because we did enjoy the food, especially the carne asada. Plus, their prices were reasonable.

I greatly miss my Casa Serrano in Lake Havasu. Was hoping this one hit the mark like that one, however it just wasn’t it. Same owner, restaurant etc but this just didn’t quite taste the same. For Nostalgia we loved the decor.

So there is a reason why I have not been here for the last 15 years because it’s still bad. Figured I would go give it a try again see if it has got any better over the years and guess what it’s was even worse. The worse chips and salsa were the first indication it was going to bad because they were terrible and then the food came I ordered a cheese enchilada (Cheese ) and and they said you get a choice of meat I said no thank you just cheese only would be just fine. It came out with tons of onions inside. Ok well that was gross. The taco was gross. My husband’s chimichanga was cold and just not seasoned with anything. It was like eating at a geriatric nursing home. So as we looked around which there wasn’t many people at all. Well they were all old . So idk. It was just tasteless non Mexican white geriatric food. Weird mix of music as well and the waiters were not that great either. The place was clean and the atmosphere of the place was very nice it’s just not for me . Glad others like it. But that’s my option on it and I probably will not be back even in another 15 years. And I am ok with that. Just letting people know if they have any kind of taste buds and they think they are eating Mexican food. Well you are not !! Oh and the water is absolutely disgusting. Non filtered bullhead city sewer water and they use that same water for there drinks so the other stuff taste bad as well.

4/12/25 One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in a long time. I like the lighting and all the decor on the walls. Very colorful. I had the desert burrito. Again very good food full of flavor. They also come around and give you a complimentary taco. The service was fast and my food came out within 15 mi minutes.

Great tasting Mexican food. We moved from California, so our expectations are high. This is our new go-to place!! Their food is extremely flavorful. We love the bean dip that comes with chips and salsa. There’s a huge selection of lunch specials, and the Cadillac margarita was one of the best I’ve ever tasted.

Very festive restaurant, nice service and good food and drinks. When we went they were slightly busy but the table service was very slow and our waiter was either new or stressed. I would still go again. Try another day and see.

The food is great and salsa and chips are definitely good but the service is hit and miss sometimes they wait on you and other times they don’t even ask you if you want a drink BUT they could get some tips on service from the Casa Serrano restaurant in Laughlin, what a difference!!!! They were polite always checking on you, very friendly and professional…

I stopped in for a horchata to go. Waited 20 minutes in the lobby by the counter, multiple employees walked by no one said hello or if I wanted a menu. I’d be more understanding if they were busy but the place had about as much a staff as customers. I usually tip 5$ for the drink because it’s so good but after waiting so long and being ignored I walked out without anything. While I was in there the phone was ringing off the hook without answer. I really hope this was just a bad night, to be honest I’m not sure I’ll be stopping back there are plenty of other Mexican restaurants with better service.

Absolutely amazing, authentic and wonderful people with a beautiful atmosphere… On top of that it’s owner-operated that’s very affordable. Not corporate ! Owner is from Zacatecas Mexico I believe. He has owned the location for many decades and comes in everyday to check on things. I love to give my business to these exact locations.. I’m a tough critic so I have to say one thing the margaritas like every other place they fill it full of ice and give you about a quarter of a shot of tequila and the rest is all fruit juice.. The only recommendation I would have is give the option to actually have a margarita as ordered.
