Have been eating here for literally decades. Found this place when I was working in the area in the early 90’s.
Decent hamburgers and various other sandwiches.
Truly a unique place to eat.
Be aware this is a bikers destination alot of the time.
Was here around 2 in the afternoon and it was pretty much packed.

Great food and great people. Love this place. Never disappointed when we come here. Holly took great care of us. She has such a great personality. We had the deviled eggs (they use dill pickles which I love) chili, garlic Parmesan wings and a burger with okra. So yummy.

Fantastic place. Food was amazing. The prime rib sandwich (special there today – 10/26/2024), was excellent. We also had the chicken wings, fried pickles, & the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Everything was delicious. Service was great as well with a wonderful atmosphere. Would highly recommend. The Cliff Express drink was delicious as well.

Arrived at 5pm on a Friday night. No crowd and there were plenty of empty tables. Server was friendly and welcoming. She recommended the special (pulled pork&brisket combo). Two people ordered this only to be informed a few minutes later that they were out of it. Meatloaf was ordered and it was very bland was tipped with straight up ketchup. Menu description was a bbq sauce. Meatloaf was absolutely gross and inedible. Onion rings were a grease soaked ball of none flavor. Server offered free dessert for the issue and we declined. She was great but the kitchen performance was terrible. We will avoid returning anytime soon. It felt very reminiscent to the period before the previous owner shut it down. Hope they get it together.

If you’re looking for a burger, then look no more and order their fried pickle burger. I added an egg, which only added density to the burger. The pulled pork was off-the-hook!! This burger was absolutely amazing with the flavor, the texture, the toppings, the sauce, and the overall size. This exceeded my expectations. The onion rings were small stings, so get the fries. We also tried the Deviled eggs which were real mild. We went there for a good burger and the wait staff were very friendly and they back the goodness of their burger. If you can’t decide, ask your server.
The ambiance is great built on top of a rock. It would be cool to have a small waterfall built in, so just a suggestion.

We had a good meal at the Undercliff Grill & Bar. I hadn’t been in a few years as I moved from town. Since I have been they have remodeled and it looks great!
I had the Philly with fries. It was very good, the fries were fries crispy and were great!
Others had fried chicken, bacon cheeseburgers, and the fried pickle burgers. All were good, I heard no negative comments.
If you’re looking for a good meal in a unique place, I recommend and will return again.

A small hidden place that is well worth the find. I ordered two meals to go and couldn’t keep my hands off them on the way back to hotel.

Order a pull pork cheeseburger with carolina bbq which turned out to be mainly be carolina mustard sauce, and their bbq sauce is like a chunky marinara, the pull pork and burger had no seasoning and were as dry and tough as a well done steak. I never leave reviews, but this is the worse food experience I’ve had in any non fast food restaurants. Not worth 18 dollars. Server was great and atmosphere was great, but the food was horrible

This place is just simply cool, it’s a quiet out of the way neat little pub / restaurant actually built into a cliff overhang. Tye back wall being the natural stone cliff itself.
Excellent breakfast! I am pretty sure the hashbrowns are hand shredded. The biscuits taste like they are made in house as well.
It is honestly hard to find a perfect fried egg, but they did it! Pancakes are fluffy, with crisp edges .
Excellent Missouri hospitality, definitely worth tye drive!

What a delightfully cool place. Literally built in a cave/cliff next to a creek and train tracks with trains going by. The food was delicious, I recommend the pork chop, the staff is really nice, everyone was awesome, and they had live music. A very talented guy named Chris. Thanks for a delightful time. Even the cat liked it though she stayed in the RV
