Four stars for fantastic service from Elizabeth and some excellent mac & cheese. For a change, my mom was pleased with her chicken as her usual complaint when we dine out (not here!) is that it’s dry and overcooked. This was moist and flavorful.

My complaints here are that the ribs were overdone. I expected better at a place literally called “Rib City” on a Sunday at only 6pm. They were dry and overdone. Bummer.

Restroom was clean, the table was clean, the squeezie bottles of table sauce were good (traditional was good, mustard was not) and the draft beer was one of the smallest glasses I’ve seen. If we ever come back, I’ll get something else other than the ribs.

Tried Rib City in Cape Coral and honestly, it was just okay. The ribs were pretty underwhelming easily the thinnest ribs I’ve ever had, and lacking the rich, smoky flavor I look for in good barbecue. Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either. The overall meal was passable, but not something I’d come back for regularly. If you’re a serious BBQ fan, you might want to look elsewhere for something more consistent and flavorful.

Good food! Took a big group of 10 and they were so accommodating. Great service and excellent ribs. All smiles while they patiently waited for food. They look starved.

Great food, wonderful customer service and more.

I’ve been going here for over twenty years now.

I love the cheese fries but the price goes up and portion size has greatly reduced.

I recommend the fried okra with spicy ranch or the chicken tenders as an appetizer (some eat this as a meal

I typically get the sliced pork skyscraper with the sides. It’s a very consistent meal.

The ice tea is really good! Don’t forget to ask for a to-go cup as well.

They treat you like family there.

I’m not sure what this was. It’s not like any brisket I’ve ever had before. Gray, rubbery, dry, cut unusually thick. See the pictures to confirm. It’s definitely not worth the high $18 price.

The mac and cheese had a soapy aftertaste. The baked beans were not slow-cooked or incorporated into the sauce, so they were pretty bland and hard.

The okra had stiff, inedible pieces in it. I don’t know if they were stems or what. I had to spit them out not once or twice but three times, with a piece getting stuck in my throat before throwing the rest away.

I gave an extra star because the hostess was a sweetheart, and the atmosphere felt friendly for the short amount of time that I was in there, but the food was a major disappointment. The quality certainly does not justify the high cost.

Visiting from Ohio and wanted to grab something quick after a long drive. We ordered curbside, so it was nice not having to get out the car in my pajama pants lol. So my review is 100% about the food as I didn’t dine in nor really interact with any of their employees. I got the big fish sandwich and fries. I would have liked to try some actual BBQ, but I was just in the mood for fish. My gf got the chicken, fries and Mac and cheese. Mine was good, nothing to complain about. My gf enjoyed her food. For me, a solid four stars. I would recommend it to others.

Best ribs I ever had. Even slightly better then mine, I have to admit, no shame in that.
The deserts are awesome as well. Happy to come back.

PS: Signs are from mans restrooms. They had even more and wife told me the one’s in ladys restrooms are funny as well.

My favorite BBQ place to kill all the BBQ cravings. The menu is great. Wife and I can always put something together that perfectly suites our tastes at the moment. The daily specials are cool. Everything seems seasoned and cooked just right. The servers we’ve encountered all have good attitudes and are proud of what they’re handing out. And they should be. Gotta try to save room for dessert (pic) too. Because the pies…OMG. Generous slices compared to most other restaurants. I appreciate the fact that this place can put together the quality of food, quantity of food, and great servers that they do and keep the prices reasonable. I couldn’t ask for more value out of any visit I’ve made here. I’ve had better BBQ, but I paid dearly for it. And left still somewhat hungry. I might still do that a couple times a year. But I could eat at this Rib City weekly (if not more) and leave grinning from ear to ear. Especially after some coconut cream pie.

I had lunch at Rib City, while visiting family in the Ft. Myers/Cape Coral area. It seemed to be a fairly new restaurant, nice atmosphere, with friendly service. I ordered the Skyscraper. It’s a sandwich piled with sliced meat of your choice on garlic toast with two sides. I had the smoked turkey breast, baked beans and fries. The sandwich doesn’t come with any condiments, so I added some barbecue sauce to my sandwich. The turkey was tender and had a nice smoke taste to it. The bake beans were ok, a little too sweet and I didn’t like the ground meat in them, but they were ok. The fries were good, hot and crispy. I tried a couple of ribs, and they were tender and nicely smoked. I would try Rib City again if I’m in the area.

I loved that they asked me if I wanted sweet tea or lemonade. It has been so long since I’ve had good sweet tea! The pulled pork sandwich was amazing, so are their fries. The smoke turkey salad is like deli meat though. Garlic bread and onion rings were good too! Cute little booths and very group oriented.
