Sonny’s Grille is one of my very favorite places to eat anywhere! Fantastic food, very fair prices and great service. Rachel is a joy! Their crab cakes are legendary and the Salmon is to die for.

Rachael was our waitress and was excellent! She got the order perfect and made sure our drinks were full and if we needed anything she got it fast. The food was amazing and would recommend to anyone. The atmosphere was laid back and dimly lit.

Stopped at Sonny’s and ordered the ravioli with vodka sauce, and I have to say, it was excellent.
The ravioli were cooked perfectly — not mushy, not underdone — and the vodka sauce had great flavor without being too heavy. You could tell it was made right, not just poured out of a jar like a lot of places do.
Rachael and Kat were both friendly and attentive and made sure everything was just right without being overbearing. Service like that makes a place easy to come back to.
The portion size was more than fair, and I even had some left to take home, which is always a bonus. Good food, good service, and a comfortable place to sit down and enjoy a meal.
You can’t go wrong ordering pasta at Sonny’s. I’ll definitely be getting it again.

Kaylyn is the best server and bartender there!!! We love her and want her to wait on us when we are there!! Wings are also fire every time we get them! Never an issue with food or drinks!

Second time coming here. Kaylyn is awesome! Makes everyone feel welcome and has the best hospitality presence. The other girls were great too! You can tell they enjoy what they do, it really shows. The food is FANTASTIC. 10/10 would recommend.

I just ordered a cup of potato soup and a buffalo grilled chicken salad and I must say that whoever is in charge of the kitchen should be incredibly embarrassed. I had to return to the restaurant as the soup was cool.. not even room temperature, but cool. They must’ve thrown some in the microwave and given it to me, as the next one was “hot”ish. The salad leaves were all shrivelled and old and tasted like they’d been dropped on the floor. I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. With each bite there was a gritty particle sensation, like sand were sprinkled over it. The chicken is overcooked and dry. Nothing more needs to be said. I am disgusted with this place and what passes as acceptable to them. I will never return and I’d highly recommend steering clear of this place if you have ANY standards, whatsoever, about what you ingest. I threw the whole thing away after 3 bites. Abysmal in every sense of the word. $26 and substandard as it gets.

Kaylyn especially stands out — she’s friendly, attentive, and makes the whole experience even better. It’s rare to find someone who balances being professional and personable so naturally, but she absolutely does. Service like that keeps people coming back.

Stopped in at Sonny’s in Belle Vernon and had a great experience. The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what we were hoping for. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to sit down and enjoy a good meal.

We stopped here after a volleyball game and it was the best decision! The curb appeal drew us in, the interior was everything and the food was even more amazing! I wish we didn’t inhale the food before the thought of taking a photo…next time for sure!!! Vanessa is amazing! Cannot wait to come back in the warmer weather to enjoy the patio seating!
