Her service was proactive and anticipatory: she took the initiative to manage refills for my fountain drink without me needing to ask, even stating, “I got you for that,” which exemplified her commitment to my comfort. Her expressive and professional manner in acknowledging me, combined with her attentiveness, made me feel especially welcomed, relaxed, and comfortable.
Furthermore, as this was my first experience at Pei Wei, Maria’s in-depth menu knowledge was invaluable. She expertly guided my selections, recommending both the appetizer and the Mongolian Steak entrée, and explaining their specifics. The visit concluded with a highly professional and warm farewell, as she stated, “Thank you for coming, I appreciate your visit, and I hope to see you soon.”

I came in this evening after a long work day and the young lady who took my order was so nice, especially since I only ordered a kids meal. Being a diabetic, most times, I can’t eat the full meal so I order the kids which is a smaller portion. She didn’t judge or look at me weird, for doing so. Plus she left this small but much needed note. I just wanted to thank her, I should have asked her name. SMH.

Completely got my order wrong. I clearly said I wanted chicken and they gave me shrimp. Paid extra for fried rice and they didn’t give me any. The person who took my order didn’t even know what was on the menu. I called to tell them that my order was wrong, and they told me to come back. I live 12 miles away and with gas prices like this, there was no way that was happening!
The restaurant itself seemed fine, or at least clean. But I would never come to this location again.
*They do have gluten free options which is nice.

I am giving negative review base on the menu change. The dishes now have less vegetables. The tofu too breading and when u eat it to go, it’s not crunchy. Definitely not as healthy as it used to be. No carrots, Broccoli, peas and so little peppers. The portion is really small, like half what it used to be.
I will be saying good bye to Pei Wei.

Changed my rating up to 5 stars. Their food taste much better, I think what happened there were too many changes and affected the quality and quantity of the food. Bathroom is clean and not crowded. Now we go here at least once a week.

Forest at the register was super helpful and nice. Wouldn’t get the chicken dumplings again, chicken eggrolls were okay, was very impressed the firecracker chicken and the chicken lettuce wraps. Great service!

The food is hit or miss. The chicken can be tough & stringy sometimes other times it good. I’ve always had good experiences when I order shrimp or vegetable entrees. I often get fried rice & it is always good. The service is always good. Staff is friendly & they always have my to go orders prepared at the time it’s expected.

I frequent the Pei Wei locations at Casa Paloma, as well as Guadalupe and McClintock in Tempe. This location does not even compare at all. The cashier seemed confused as we pointed to the menu items and said them by name. She still got the order wrong. We ordered Kung Poa Chicken, we got shrimp (and most of the peanuts were burned). We ordered the Thai Curry and paid extra for fried rice. We got white rice. We called the restaurant and got an, “Oh, sorry.” I guess we will stick to the other locations from now on.
