We had never tried it here so we gave it a try on our way home today for an early dinner. The food was decent, I’m not sure we will be back but the food was ok. The atmosphere seemed fine but the server we had was rude, which made for the experience not the best. We also weren’t given take out containers to put our leftovers in , the server took it away out back to package up and then brought it back out which we thought was odd, but we usually got to Yang Ming 2 so we will prob just keep going there from now on…

First time going to this restaurant and got the shrimp lo mein lunch special. $14 and change for this huge portion of the shrimp lo mein, pork fried rice and 1 excellent egg roll. Everything tasted great and what a bargain. Went on a Friday for takeout around 1pm and the place was packed! Will definitely go back when I’m in the area again.

I actually stopped going because I kept getting sick the day of or after. My wife went 2xs after I stopped and then she started to get sick.. not sure what changed because she was going here for over a year without any problems cept the service being slow in her opinion. We went to this restaurant hoping for delicious, steamy dumplings—but it was a major disappointment. The dumplings were a disaster: not hot at all, and the dough layer was way too thick. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THE DUMPLINGS.
The Chicken Lo Mein noodles and Chicken with Garlic Sauce were good, but overall, I would not recommend this restaurant despite its high rating.

We’ve been eating here regularly since it opened. It was remodeled several years ago. It is a very popular spot. The drinks are uncommonly stiff, so the bar is always packed with older patrons. The lunch specials remain a good value. Food is not overwhelming and there are several dishes best avoided. Anything fried can be overcooked and tough, as are chicken skewers and too often boneless spareribs. Fried rice is excellent, hot and sour soup good but not very spicy, and apps are probably the least satisfying. Very efficient service. House specials are excellent. Pad Thai is average. Overall, though, by far the best in the area.

Excellent restaurant that has some of the best Chinese I’ve ever had. The staff are also very friendly. It is a popular place so on weekends it’s a good idea to get there earlier rather than later. Particularly in the bar area. The steak teriyaki is delicious and juicy, unlike some of the dried-up sorts that I’ve had in other places. Everything we’ve had here has been fantastic, and I highly recommend it.

My son is picky so he ordered chicken fingers. We did a small combo bc we have never tried the food here but have heard great things. Food was expensive so again we tried a small combo; we got 7 crab rangoons 2 egg rolls and 5 chicken fingers. The crab Rangoon I’d say 5 out of 10 they were okay the chicken finger were over cooked too much batter and drenched in oil which gave a weird after taste. My son was not impressed with the chicken. The egg roll too much oil as well and only cabbage inside wi th nooo flavor.
Our waitress was kind and friendly; but at the end of the meal another mom was seated with her two kids; the mom was tired and seemed overwhelmed and the waitress made a comment to me about this women parenting her children and she was doing nothing wrong. I’m a single mom so I know at the end of the day how tired you can be and overwhelmed i offered the women some help so she could peacefully use the bathroom. She was thankful for that but the waitress quickly judged and made a comment out loud which is kind of rude and unprofessional. We will not be going back again.

For me, this restaurant is a destination. I have three other restaurants close by, but I’m willing to make the trip because the food is so consistently good and worth it. Everybody we have taken there feel the same way and have completely enjoyed the experience.

The food is excellent, in my opinion. The egg rolls are nice and crispy and the vegetables in the center are coarsely chopped. It does say in the name, FAMILY, so I shouldn’t complain…but there were 2 parties with children. I have, now grown, twins and I wouldn’t allow them to be disruptive in a restaurant
I actually felt bad for the young boy who asked his father a question 3 TIMES before he answered. Same thing with the mother who was reading her phone.
