Made a stop here on my way to work. I’m not greeted for a few minutes at the drive-thru, even though nobody was there. Then someone comes on and just says “I’ll give you a few minutes to look over the menu.” I already knew that I just wanted a sandwich but they make me wait… another 5 minutes pass, I place the order. Pull up, pay, told I have to wait and it will be a minute or two. They ask me to pull forward and wait. I’m sitting there for another 5 minutes and NOBODY is in line or at the store. I had to leave to make it to work on time. I’ve spent the past three weeks with their corporate customer service trying to get my 5.50 back for the sandwich, to no avail. Even their corporate customer service is completely useless. From my previous review the dining area smelled like urine. Meaning they don’t have bathroom dedicated mops and/or they are not changing out their water when switching from restrooms to dining area. I can’t even imagine what type of cross contamination is occurring in their kitchen…

You don’t care, if you did you wouldn’t have all the same problems and low ratings in previous reviews. Poorly managed establishment who hopes to survive of the “popeyes” name.

I don’t even know how this place is still in business. I’ve tried maybe 6 times since they’ve opened, and not one single time did I pull up and they didn’t have some sort of excuse to not do their job. Today they couldn’t take orders for 20 minutes because of a “shift change.” I ordered ONE honey mustard wrap. No honey mustard so they gave me the original. They just slapped a tender in a tortilla with none of the toppings it’s supposed to have. No lettuce, no cheese. I also don’t understand why they tell you that you have to come in to pick up an online order when the app tells you that you can pick up your order through the drive through. The owner should have done a complete overhaul before woodmans opened. Could have had a lot of business with employees that actually care about their jobs. The consistent one star reviews should tell you something. Do yourself a favor and take the advice from multiple people’s reviews. Go to the Kenosha location by Walmart.

Chicken sandwich was great. Well, it was three years ago anyway. After 10 minute wait, then told it will be five minutes before we have spicy chicken fingers. They are out of blackened chicken, napkins and drink covers. If you can’t do your main service well, you shouldn’t be in business. Staff does not seem to care.

Updated Review – 10/26/24: I never believed it could get worse, but it did. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. It was a normal chicken sandwich. Look at the pic I attached. When I opened it up, it looked liked they dropped it before they wrapped it. It was a mess! We ordered honey lemon pepper sauce…. we didn’t get it, but we paid for it. The 3-piece chicken combo was tiny The worst was the Apple Cranberry Lemonade. I swear, I was drinking pink sugar water. It was terrible! The ONLY good thing were the fries. They were hot and fresh. BUT they threw them in the bag and they were all over the place. (See pic). The lady at the window was friendly… but I will never go back to this Popeyes again. I should have learned the last time.

Original Review: Very disappointed. I got the 1/4 pound shrimp and chicken tenders combo. The shrimp were definitely not jumbo shrimp… They weren’t normal size shrimp… I wouldn’t even call them popcorn shrimp… They were in my opinion breading with NO shrimp. And they had no cocktail sauce.
The chicken tenders were a joke. Look at the pic of the one chicken tender I got. My finger is pointing at it. It was about the same size of a shrimp. It was a joke. There was no chicken in that piece! No way!
The one good thing about my visit was the service was fast and friendly. The person at the window was super nice an apologized for being out of some things… Cole slaw and cocktail sauce.
If this was my first time going to Popeye’s, I would never go back… But I know it can be much better. So, I will try it again soon.

If you want the absolute rudest customer service you have ever experienced, longest wait time , and stale tasting chicken this is your kinda place. I thought this place had new management but still the same garbage. Trust me, drive out of your way to go to ANY other Popeyes beside this one because this place will ruin your day.

Ordered online for drive thru, they told me to come inside. Service was bad. The food was not good at all, very oily and did not look edible, got stomach issues after eating it. This is in my top 10 worst places to eat.

Ordered 1 meal through the app. Nothing that you can’t order at the intercom. The app states I can pick up at the drive thru. I have done this at every other Popeyes location. This location will tell you that you have to come in. When I asked why I was told “because you have to come in” and the employee turned off the intercom. So I went in. My meal was sitting on the counter, no other customers in the dining room OR drive thru, and the employee was sitting at the back of the kitchen very obviously with no other work to be doing. Terrible customer service at this location!

The people working were trying! It s the demand for food to be fast. Not sure if the drive through wasn’t working or the workers were over whelmed, but we had to go in. I do not recall trying Popeye’s- mainly because someone warned me about slow & poor service at a different location. I chalked it up to Louisiana pace…Staff was trying & friendly….just a lot to do….

This has to be the worst fast food establishment I’ve ever visited. I’ve been waiting 40 minutes for a 5 piece tender combo in the drive thru. Several others have received their meals and left. I can’t imagine why or what is preventing me from receiving my meal. They’ve asked me 3 times what my order was and have yet to bring anything out. I’m certain the food will not be worth this astronomically long wait. If you’re hungry, don’t come to this Popeyes. Rude staff, long wait, sold out of half the menu.
