The location is set up pretty interesting, and kind of has an old diner feel to it. They have a very big selection of food, including breakfast all day. The mega chill dog was delicious! They have a great chili recipe, and their fries and onion rings were amazing! The staff was very friendly. The employees were very friendly and the service was fast. We really enjoyed the food. We definitely plan on stopping in again, the next time we come through Toledo.

Happen to run into Rudy’s didn’t even know it was there. The food was very good. Customer service was awesome and it didn’t cost that much. I must say I enjoyed myself there. And the good food was a bonus. Definitely will return.

Good food but extremely disappointing that you’re always closing early and don’t answer the drive thru window when you still have 30 minutes left of being open. Then lock the doors with 25 minutes left when I pull around to come in

Cheap hotdogs with mediocre chili.
From the 1st bite I could tell the hotdogs that they use is pretty cheap. The chili wasn’t very tasty to me at all. Had a side of coleslaw which was actually pretty decent to me.
The service was good and the restaurant was pretty clean.

Seconds time I’ve driven across town for Rudys..second time they have been too complacent. I’m sure spending all day building hotdogs is boring…but NO ONION is easy. Won’t be driving out of my way again.

Eating at Rudy’s is a childhood memory I’ll never forget. Every year we would drive to Toledo to visit family and see the Light Before Christmas at the zoo. We’d always end the evening with a trip to Rudy’s. It’s been about 15 years since I’ve eaten there but today it was just as good as I remember. The atmosphere is like taking a trip back in time. Everyone was friendly and very helpful despite it being obvious we didn’t know how to move through the ordering process. You grab your tray and utensils at the door then your items are handed to you as you move through the line. The prices were still very reasonable and the food was just as delicious as I remember. I highly recommend staying classic and getting a chili cheese dog with everything and fries. My fiance ordered a cup of chili as well and loved the unique flavor. Their menu has expanded too with greek food, chicken and including all day breakfast. Pie slices on display in a dessert cooler seems to still be a staple. Although the wait is very short, there is a drive through if you don’t want to dine in. Highly recommend.

I ordered three slough dogs. They tasted like rotten fish on edible the cheesecake. I got one bite out of it. Disgusting. I didn’t get any ketchup or mustard and the bun on the hotdog that I did take a bite out of was hard as a rock most disgusting thing I have ever eaten in my life I will never order this place again And they didn’t put any utensils in. and to make things worse, I thought spent $30 on three hotdogs of cheesecake and a french fry was expensive but then when you can’t eat it.
