I had the French dip, which was okay. It had a good amount of meat, but it definitely tasted like they microwaved the cold meet and didn’t cook it to order. Fries were decent as they use same fries as McDonalds I think.
Pizza was good because it was made fresh and hot. And my friend said the ribs definitely tasted like store bought but decent.
Wish the food came out a bit hotter than the room temperature but nice cold beer made it up!

The service and food are great at this Boston’s location. My family ordered the margherita pizza, bone-in wings, bandera bread, and topped it off with the whiskey cake! Everything was delicious and presented well. We really enjoyed everything here. They really take care of their customers well here by checking in and making certain everything is going well throughout the whole dining experience. I highly recommend this Boston’s, there are many different options to choose from here. I will be back in the future!

Highly recommend this restaurant in Smokey Point. Great atmosphere, family owned, friendly staff and good food. I had the steak salad this time. My husband had the fish and sweet potato fries. Both were delicious. Yummy pizza and sandwiches too.

My wife and I went to Smokey Point Boston’s last night and it will be the last time we go to any Boston’s. Our waiter and server were very good and friendly. The food, however, was terrible. My burger was dry and the bun was hard. My wife’s French dip was very small and had very little meat and cheese. It tasted very bland. Everything seemed microwaved. The au jus was served in a small condiment cup, too small for dipping. The chips and queso were extra salty and $11.99. Food did not take long to get cold. The atmosphere was absolutely dead (should’ve been a sign). The bathroom resembled that of a dive bar. Years ago Boston’s was always good. It had been a few years since we’d been there and we won’t be going back. Disappointing

Eh, like all corporate chains, this one is going down hill too. The service is okay, but the food is just mediocre and getting worse as time goes on.

They’re Buffalo cauliflower wings used to be so good, with blue cheese crumbles. Now they come out basic and bland.

I got a small pizza a few weeks ago, and the quality was worse than little Cesar’s.

I went in yesterday, and the music volume was far too loud in the bar. I put noise cancelling headphones in and I was still overwhelmed.

Each time I’ve been in lately, I haven’t left satisfied or fulfilled.

Tables / booths are big.. Maybe too big. We had to eat on the edges of our seats. All of our food came out hot and fresh. The cauliflower Buffalo appetizer was surprisingly excellent. I’m a chicken guy but we the cauliflower due to vegetarians in our party.. And it tasted like chicken straight up. Cactus chips were in my opinion too crispy and the seasoning was caked on too much. The pizza burger was really good and filling. Fries are really average but that’s a good thing. My wife loved her Mac and cheese. It had a queso like kick to it which was a flavor enhancer. I thought my ultimate pepperoni pizza needed a lot more sauce but it still tasted good. My in laws liked their impossible burger (well seasoned) and the margarita pizza. Decent prices, beautiful interior (recently renovated) and friendly service. This is a great place to go if you don’t want to wait for a table and still have a nice experience

UPDATE: DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
This was our first review on our first ever visit to Boston’s. READ THE SECOND REVIEW BELOW THAT FOR OUR SECOND VISIT EXPERIENCE (HORRENDOUS!)

Bobby and bini, the owners, are great! They make you feel very welcome! I had the pizza burger and it tasted as good as it looked! My wife had the ribs, tender and delicious! I don’t remember the last time I recommended a restaurant but I certainly recommend this place and will be back!

UPDATE Friday November 14th 2025
Do not eat or drink here unless you enjoy being ripped off! I’ll explain. First time here my wife wanted a salad instead of coleslaw with her meal. Instead of an up charge we were charged for a side salad. We thought it was maybe our fault. So this time, the second time we’ve been here, my wife asked if there was a up charge to have a salad instead of coleslaw. The waitress said “yes, $1.50”. My wife said ok.

We got the bill and the charge for having salad instead of coleslaw was $3.69. We asked the waitress about it and she said “I don’t know the whole menu!”. “Do you want to talk to the manager?” She was short with us and not happy. By the way, I also asked about being charged for two beers when I only had one. The owner showed up and tried to explain to us that somewhere on the menu it showed the $3.69 up charge . He couldn’t understand that we were told something else and literally got mad. We told him we didn’t want anything but for him to educate his servers. Then when told about being charged for 2 beers and not just the one I had with lunch (the waitress knew this was true and apologized) he said “I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt “. Doubt? What doubt? He insinuated I was lying! So, bad service, bad management, terrible owners.

We wonder if this is a frequent scam run by this establishment? Do people just not notice or think not a big deal? Food wasn’t bad, place is spotless clean. I don’t recommend going here ever. If you do, check your receipts and get ready for a battle when you point out a discrepancy. By the way, the owner (manager) walked away in the middle of my wife talking to him. No yelling, no name calling, just trying to point out we were clearly told one thing and charged something else. And the server said “I don’t know the whole menu!”. Isn’t that her job? If she was new , maybe, but she wasn’t. Scam? Once, probably not but more than once ya gotta wonder.

We will never set foot in this establishment again and highly recommend that you don’t either.

Also, I’ve noticed other reviews have mentioned that the first time they were here they were treated like royalty but the second time was a different story. We had the same weird experience.

It’s equivalent to a Applebees or chilis. It’s a fast casual resteraunt with a large selection of items (mainly American leaning). There are some unique meals here like a pizza burger and some classics. The pizzas are personal size so you could easily eat 1 or share 1 if you have another side.

I had the French dip which was decent, good amount of protein but it was a bit dry so you had to use the French dip sauce. The fries were not seasoned at all.

I would say if you like those classic American spots then this is a good place to go to. It’s good for groups that have that type of desire too.

The name is weird but the food is fantastic! I had the pizza burger and had reservations that it would be too much of a good thing. It was not! It was absolutely delicious and I will definitely eat it again when I’m hungry in two or three years! The service was good and the restaurant itself was well laid out and comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is the bathrooms were disgusting.
