I had brunch here with a girlfriend today (a Sunday), fully knowing that there would be a wait because this is a converted HOUSE with a 1 person kitchen. It is well worth it!

I’m beyond impressed at the quality of food the chef put out, giving full attention to every dish, even under the stress of a busy day. The staff were so patient and kind, even when dealing with disgruntled customers who don’t understand that they have a tiny kitchen with 1 chef. I had no place to be and was content waiting but was still offered a drink and coffee cake as an apology for the wait. So sweet.

I had The Market, a savory crepe, which they modified for me with no questions asked. It was delicious. The coffee cake was PERFECT, the mimosa was HUGE and my coffee cup never went empty. I love the outdoor patio. It’s so cozy that I could sit out there all day.

The Hangar Cafe is an institution and I can’t wait to return!

Fabulous food and Service! Toni was so nice to every single person walking in and communicated any wait times very effectively. It’s a busy morning and the chef was killing it – we could see from our seat that they were knocking out orders like a pro. Haven’t been to Seattle in over 10 years and I would 100% recommend this place for a great breakfast!

This spot is amazing. I felt like I was on a movie set—the design is absolutely great and wonderfully immersive. I especially enjoyed the crepes; they have an authentic, Eastern European style that was a delightful surprise. The price is affordable and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend checking out the atmosphere alone.

Pretty good brunch and breakfast. I liked the patio setup. Very pretty and it was cool to have the little finches scrambling around having breakfast with us.

Food was delicious and the patio was cozy with blankets and heat lamps for the chilly weather. We came on a weekend, were sat right away but warned that food would be around 45 mins, which was very accurate and to be expected at a popular weekend brunch spot. Try the basil waffles!

Our first time here. We ordered waffle, special savory crepe and artichoke/mushroom crepe. Everything tasted super yummy. Great service and friendly staffs. Highly recommend this cafe. You definitely get to see and hear the planes fly passes!

Wow, I truly love this spot! I went in for a late breakfast on an unseasonably sunny winter Friday and was immediately impressed. The menu is fantastic, featuring sweet and savory crepes, waffles, burritos, coffee cake, and more. The atmosphere is just as wonderful, with plant-covered front and back patios and a cozy indoor space.

I’m vegetarian, and the super kind staff pointed out that they offer plant-based sausage and ham, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Italian crepe with plant-based sausage and, at their suggestion, added Mama Lil’s peppers. It was so stinkin’ good -the fresh veggies were delicious, and the drizzles of crème fraiche and pesto really took it over the top.

I’m also a mimosa enthusiast and was super impressed by the juice pairing selection. My only regret is that I wasn’t more hungry, because I’m very excited to try more of the sweet offerings. I cannot rave about this spot enough. What a gem, and what excellent staff!

Toni spotted a birthday card our table and clued in there was a birthday, bringing our coffee cake with a lit candle, nice surprise! We agreed the Frittata was over the top delicious. Tall, fluffy, cheesy, wonderfully spiced! Love the open air vibe and friendly service. Well done redo!

We came to Hanger Café around 9 AM on a Sunday morning and were seated right away — perfect timing since it wasn’t too busy yet. The food was absolutely delicious! They specialize in crêpes, both savory and sweet, with a great variety of fillings to choose from. If you’re in a hurry, you might want to let the staff know — the place got pretty busy and the food took a little while, but we didn’t mind since we weren’t in a rush.

It’s a small, cozy spot with a charming vibe. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with blankets available in case you get chilly. I especially loved the quirky touch of each table having a different set of salt shakers — so cute! Sitting outside was lovely; you can enjoy the scent of flowers and occasionally hear planes taking off, which we found surprisingly pleasant rather than distracting.

The staff was super friendly, and everything was clean and well cared for. The only thing to note is that you’ll need to find street parking, but overall, this place is definitely worth the visit. We’ll be back for sure!
