What an amazing variety of plates.
Let me start with I’m native Mexican so my judgment of Mexican food can be a bit strict since I know the real deal This is not your ordinary restaurant,, its definitely one to go into “my favorites” list. Their plates were flavorful and their presentation was perfect! My passion fruit margarita had real fruit, yummy. The vegan enchiladas were quite unique with great ingredients. Staff was top notch. We’ll definitely be back.

I struggled to review this place because the food, service, and atmosphere are good. But watch up for their dishonest bill!!!!. The price on your bill is higher than the price on the menu. See my attached receipt. Never have I seen a bill of such discrepancies in any restaurant. When I asked the waitress, she could not give me a reason and said she would have to ask her manager. Disappointing….I will not return to a restaurant with such practices. Either you fix your menu ….but doing it on the cash register at check out is dishonest. The customer has no say after eating the meal and will just have to pay the bill and never return.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful! The strawberry margarita was amazing! Sadly, I’m used to fruit margaritas made with juice not real fruit. This had amazing strawberry flavor and fruit at the bottom! 10:10 would get again! The chips are nice and thick and warm, accompanying salsa was yummy and not too spicy!
My tostada had good flavor but perhaps a bit too much sour crème and guacamole on top. I know that sounds crazy because most places short change you. I would order this again but just not mix it l up when I eat it! The tostada bowl was delicious too. The tacos were quite tasty as well!

Service was great from start to finish. Food was delivered hot and tasted delicious. Portions are large and prices are fair. I would like to come back and try other menu items.

Amelia’s offers traditional Mexican favorites. The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff is focused on customer satisfaction. Allergies are taken seriously.

The restrooms are clean. There is plenty of free parking. The restaurant is handicap accessible but may require some assistance.

This is my ne favorite restaurant in Hillsboro, Oregon.

The service is great. They were very kind and respectful and made sure that you were satisfied. The food was very good and they gave us free chips and salsa. 10/10. I will definitely be back. Also they had very good deals. Especially because me and my friend went during happy hour.

Service and chips/salsa took about 30 minutes to get to our table. Once the food was ordered, it was delivered quickly. The Cochinita Pibil was good great nice moist pork with 2 corn tortillas made for a pretty good lunch.

Not great.
Amelia’s by the Hillsboro airport. I’ve had food delivered from Amelia’s (possibly another location) and it was great. Sadly, our dinner experience was not great.

The atmosphere inside is loud, if you’re hoping to have a conversation during your meal, this probably isn’t the best place. I had a hard time hearing my friend who was sitting directly across the table from me. The restaurant wasn’t very busy.

The food was underwhelming. The corn chips were cold, the salsa tasted mostly like canned tomatoes. My salad was beautiful but it could have been much more enjoyable had it been dressed properly or had enough dressing been served with such a large salad. It did have some good attributes. The toppings were tasty, but lightly sprinkled over a lot of lettuce. The balsamic onions were good as well as the meat. Ultimately it was bowl of mostly dry lettuce so it ended up tasting bitter. The salad does have potential, it just wasn’t prepared as well as possible.

There was no greeting from staff who just looked at me. Service was mediocre. Staff seemed unhappy and one staff member looked downright angry. Seemed like bad vibes. It was unpleasant. Since we cannot force staff to simply become happier, our alternative is to not return to that environment.

My friend left her margarita because it tasted so much like sweet and sour.

One of the only things that I truly miss being gluten free are Chili Rellanos. Amelia’s in Hillsboro has a clearly marked menu, and the manager went above and beyond to reassure me and explain their safety and cross contamination protocols for those who have food restrictions.
The food was outstanding, authentic, and plentiful. This is one restaurant I will return to!!

Recently Amelia’s was brought to my apartment complex for the featured food truck of the month. Did I mention, I love my apartment complex?
Experience :
This was my first time trying the street tacos. They were delicious and hit the spot. I see why you were featured.
Food truck was very clean. Inside and out.
Price:
I got the chicken street tacos for $14. It was alot of food.
Customer Service:
Impressive and the guy helping me has a brother in the Marine Corp. My little brother served with the Marines too. I overpaid and he gave me back my money.
I will definitely be eating here again.
