It was my first time at Cook Out. The cashier was talking to herself and wiping her hands on the wall. The cooks were playing around in the back. I had to give my food back because there was Cajun seasoning on my fries. My food was cold. I have a 7-hour drive back home, and it was just too much going on at once. The manager on shift didn’t seem to know how to manage. The girl that took my food and said that’s all the fries they gave u.

Milkshakes were great, definitely the best thing. Loaded burger was good. Onions rings were soggy and not fully cooked. Loved the hushpuppies!

My kids wanted to check this place out and we heard many good things. They have an extensive menu with lots of options and I was pleasantly surprised by the shake options available. We decided on hamburgers and Cajun fries and a barbecue sandwich with Cajun fries and two shakes. The cost came out to about $10 per session on average and the food was good but not great. I asked for extra crispy fries and these were slightly underdone but I enjoyed the Cajun seasoning. I believe that this establishment was better than many fast food establishments but there was no indoor or outdoor seating so you literally just walk up or drive up to place your order and leave and with its location on Ann Street traffic made that task a little more interesting. Where they really shined was with their shakes. They were unfortunately out of the wafers used with the peach cobbler shakes but the cappuccino and peanut butter fudge shakes were delicious and I will definitely be back again

Driving from out of state, stop by to try something new. And I watch the guy in drive thru take 4 orders and never change windows for the walk up! Why ? Is there a better money in the car then walk up? No!

Out of BBQ, fresh off the truck and still frozen. Had the Cook Out style hot dog, which was outstanding. No inside eating and no outside tables, had to eat in the car. Used the outside walk up window.

Didn’t know much about Cookout. It’s not exactly new in Montgomery but I hadn’t felt any urgency to try it. Well I was in the area so I gave it a spin and didn’t know it was drive thru or walk up only but no dine in. That’s ok I guess. The employee was pretty nice and patient as we navigated the big menu, he even made some recommendations. I tried a double burger and chicken quesadilla with Cajun fries. The wife got a jr burger and onion rings with cheese bites and an Oreo shake. Food was good and as I was forwarned that it wasn’t trying to be fine dining I wasn’t disappointed. It reminds me of good concession stand food. Worth an occasional drive up when you want a variety quick and cheap.

Watch the entrance! Lots of cars were scraping coming in. You get what you pay for. Decent food, good price. They did get a few items wrong, so we had to go back, but the staff were friendly, and we received our food fast. No dine in available.

Good is mostly always good, this time though the chili on the hot dogs tasted a little past its freshness. We ordered 5 trays all were correct and quickly prepared , my husband asked for light ice in his beverage and they filled the cup up 2/3 with ice , needless to say he didn’t receive much to drink..
Over all they did good ,just check your order before you leave

Waited in drive thru for 10 minutes or more before we could place an order. Food was hot and fresh. It is debatable if it was worth the wait or inconvenience.
