Wanted to try a new place… this is where I landed. Nice Lil bar atmosphere… with outside seating. Got pizza, perogies, and wings. I really liked the wings and perogies… the pizza was good … for me it seemed like a frozen or pre made type of dough… not my preference but wasn’t gross. Gressos will stay in the rotation!!

Went here for a girls night Saturday. Seen all the hype how it was good so went to try it.
Started out well. Server was on top of things then the food came. Looked amazing, tasted amazing. Then went without a drink. Ordered it, still never got it. So, ate my whole meal without it. They brought it toward the end. Over all we would go back.

Came in off a tik tok recommendation and want disappointed. The mozzarella sticks are legendary! The buffalo chicken dip was not. It seemed dry and missing that creamy goodness. I had the smash burger and that’s exactly what I did, it was so so so good. The classic burger was also super tastey. Fries were pretty good but ordered ranch to dip and it was definitely homemade and perfect.
I go down on service because not because of hospitality but attentiveness was lacking. Overall incredibly happy and stuffed.

Our server was phenomenal. We got there during a slow time. She was very attentive, pleasant to talk to, and came back to our table often. They allow pets on the outside patio which is great because we just came from the dog park and doing a 5K. The cheese sticks are really good. I had a Philly steak sub and it was good. The kaiser bread was very soft and flavorful. We will be back to try other items on the menu.

This is a fantastic bar! The staff are super friendly and provide excellent service. The company I work for uses their facility to hold our Christmas party. The staff makes sure that we are taken care of and all of our needs are met for our company party. If you looking for a bar to have drink or rent for a party I would definitely recommend coming to Gresso’s, you won’t be disappointed.

The food is phenomenal here. Little pricy but Fresh & Tasty! From their Pizza, to the wings. They have some Loaded pork sweet potato WAFFLE fries that’s a must try for loaded fry fans. The best sized mozzarella sticks I’ve ever seen with the best seasoned marinara ever. Very good Philly cheese steak with what I call spiral fries!My goodness this place was a great find for me and my family. Alcoholic mixed drinks are on the soft side but they do have a great atmosphere and outdoor patio and great set up overall. Plenty of TVs and even have a heated porch.

I think I was way too invested in getting to know Gresso’s. I live in the neighborhood for two months now and the place was in my list of places I wanted to check out. The food was not with the quality I expected. It almost seemed that the wings were just tossed in the oil – I asked for the garlic parm and the teriyaki, we got something feeling like garlic parm and one honey mustard wing, not the one we asked. Understanding that today was quite a busy day for the bar, I didn’t even asked for the change since it was not a bad choice going for the honey mustard then. Also, the waitress was fairly new so didn’t want to add more burden to her. I got the mozz sticks, they came fast but were not even warm enough, and they also felt like they were “tossed in the oil”, simply.
Counting with the two Coors, me and my husband spent more than $50 today. I was surprised when I saw charges of 1.00 for sauce and 0.50 for celery when I didn’t even know that it was an option to order it out. Also, the celery was not in none of my wings, I only had the same sauce (and I didn’t even asked for it). I couldn’t get the lady to my table to request for a correction since the bar was super busy and we wanted to leave very soon. Too crowded and noisy as you would expect on game day of course.
So honestly, I would not recommend going on game days unless you have reservations and stay in the ground floor bar or… don’t know. Wouldn’t recommend getting wings. For the diverse options they had in the menu, I really thought they were quite the “chief” for the restaurant, which was not the case.
I am fairly disappointed so writing this review down is a way of me communicating with Gresso’s team to say that I can imagine their importance to the German Village area but the fact that I could not see this going there today, and feeling that I really wasted my sweaty money on the only meal I eat out during a week, makes me feel it’s fair to tell my piece.
