I went here with my siblings on June 14th, and the food and service were phenomenal! I would normally put a 5 star rating for the atmosphere, but something unexpected happened. I will explain what happened after I talk about the good things about this visit. First, the shrimp linguini alfredo was very good! I would definitely get it again. Second, the Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp dish was very good! The piña colada sauce pairs very well with the shrimp. The shrimp by itself is very good, but the sauce makes it a whole lot better! Third, I’ve had their lobster bisque many times, not just at this Red Lobster, but other Red Lobsters as well, and it’s to die for!!! It’s that good! Also, their Chesapeake Fries weren’t that bad. They’re just fries coated with Old Bay seasoning, but they were good. Last but not least, I had their Berry Sangria, and it’s good! I will definitely come back here again! (Also, I know this probably doesn’t happen often, but when my siblings and I were eating there, suddenly, the fire alarm went off. Luckily, it wasn’t too serious. I believe the waitress that was serving us (Kristen B) said that one of the cooks was burning something, and the smoke triggered the fire alarm. It was a bit inconvenient. None of us, including the people that were in the restaurant, had to leave. The fire alarm was turned off shortly after, and everything was resolved. Normally, in this kind of situation, I would give the atmosphere rating a 4, but I will have to give it a 3 because I have epilepsy. I take medication for it, but even with all of that flashing caused by the fire alarm, I had a minor headache afterward. I had to take it easy for the rest of that evening. Hopefully, the next time I visit this Red Lobster, hopefully, one of the cooks doesn’t decide to burn something and cause the fire alarm to go off. That’s the only complaint I have. Other than that, I loved my visit here on June 14th and would come back here again!) (Also, I mentioned her name already, but Kristen B, she was really nice to us!)(She definitely deserves a raise!)(Also, we ordered the Lobster Flatbread. I was going to take a picture of it, but everyone started digging before I could take a picture of it, but it’s okay. You can see part of it in the picture that has the Berry Sangria in it, so yeah…. )(Also, the Lobster Flatbread was very good! I would highly recommend it if you like lobster and any kind of flatbreads!)

First time in a long time since I’m allergic to fish. We don’t go here much due to me not having a lot to choose from but the Cajun Chicken Pasta Alfredo was really tasty and the drinks were very yummy. We had a new waitress and it was her 1st night….she was phenomenal, like she’s been there for years. My husband enjoyed the endless shrimp and drinks as well. We will stop again soon!

Great visit to Red Lobster. Live their food and biscuits. And it always make it better when the service is just excellent! Loved her attitude, warmth, and how she interacted with her kidness. Very thoughtful and pleasant to talk to.

We had a great visit at the Red Lobster in Altoona. I had the sesame soy salmon bowl. One of the best dishes I’ve ever had. It’s been almost a week and I’m still thinking about it. My husband enjoyed his fries flounder as well. Dessert was very good too. Our waitress was very sweet. Our anniversary meal was excellent. ❤️

This is the best Red Lobster location I’ve ever been to. The staff is always friendly and they keep the biscuits coming. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

I loved it!
Their seafood is magnificent!
I didn’t like the atmosphere very much, there was a group next to me that made a lot of noise and I asked the waitress to be in a quiet area but she didn’t move me. But well, apart from that the prices and the food are excellent!

The food was pretty good, my only complaint was the garlic butter dip for my crab legs was 90% garlic pieces. Other than that, no complaints. All things said it was a great experience.

Debbie was fantastic!! She made my grandmother feel so at home for her birthday! Every staff member took time to stop and say happy birthday. The kindness goes a long way. Food was delicious and came out fast!

Took my Mother out for her 70th birthday. We both had the “Pick 2”. She had scallops & shrimp & I had popcorn shrimp & shrimp scampi. Years ago I used to get a plate that served deviled crab. It was great. Most of the options now are just ok. My Mother enjoyed it. Their vanilla bean cheesecake is to die for! Only issue, on my part, is since COVID I guess they no longer sing “Happy Birthday” to their patrons. Just a little tidbit if you are going for someone’s birthday.

Ironically, Red Lobster is NOT the place you order lobster. I’ve known this for years, but still can’t help being enticed by the promise of “it’ll be different this time.”
I ordered the Harborside Lobster and Shrimp Feast (roasted rock lobster, garlic grilled shrimp, and shrimp scampi). The shrimp were good, but the lobster was inedible. I peeled the lobster completely back out of its shell and was horrified how BLACK the bottom of it was. It looked like an alien and had the texture of a rubber tire.
And no, I didn’t bother sending it back. Ever watch the movie “Waiting?” Yeah—you NEVER send your food back ANYWHERE you patronize unless they accidentally served you the wrong dish.
Anyhoo—
But that’s why they throw in a house salad and unlimited cheddar bay biscuits to keep you from coming completely unhinged when you finally get your main entree.
I don’t ever come here with my family expecting a “fine dining” experience. And neither should you if you’re contemplating doing so. It’s kind of an elevated mindless grazing experience when you just can’t fathom doing another fast food restaurant in the area and can’t conceivably fight the crowds to get in at Texas Roadhouse.
