The absolute best service and food. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Perfect for date night or work meetings. Our service at the bar was phenomenal. Gabriel and Amber are a killer team behind the bar. They never missed a beat and answered all of our questions. They also had the best recommendation. The food came out perfectly cooked and the pecan caramel cheese cake was to die for.

Our waiter, Colton, was known from another restaurant we frequent and we’re glad we were able to have him wait on us. Very knowledgeable about the new menu, quick to attend to any needs or questions we had. Took our order and after receiving our food quickly, and cooked to perfection. It was sooo much food, we couldn’t even finish it all. The mood of the restaurant was nice, with staff shaking and moving around and many of them stopping to clear plates or check if we needed anything. Even the corporate trainers stopped by to welcome us. Watching the numbers of customers coming and going leads one to believe Longhorn made a great decision to build here in beautiful Bastrop! Overall a wonderful experience and great atmosphere!

Ok a lot to say.
Now restaurant.
First, I just found out our server has never served before. What?!!! She is as good as a seasoned high end 5 star restaurant server. They were busy and she didnt act rushed. She listened and followed through. She was on it to perfection. Her name is Grace and she’s amazing.
Second, the stuffed mushrooms were melt in your mouth savory. Lava cake, was ….well picture it. Deanna Troy eating her Sundays. Yeah that good.
The lamb and steak were cooked to perfection. Juicy, flavors explode. The baked potatoes were sea salt on the outside. Awesome.
The sweet tea and mango lemonade were fantastic. Perfect blends.
And weird note, the pepper shaker has real pepper in it. I can smell the pipperine.
All in all, Im flabbergasted at all of it. Well done.

We had to wait a little over an hour to get seated which I expected for a brand new opening. But once seated service and food were quick and great! We had the brisket queso for our appetizer – very delicious and I upgraded to fruit pecan salad- worth it! We both had steak cooked to our request and they were just right and very good. We recommend this new location in Bastrop.

longhorn is a welcome addition to bastrop and we really enjoyed our dinner. it was very busy when we went so i highly recommend using the waiting list on their website. we had great service, and despite it being packed we got our food quickly. our steak was cooked great! for sure will be back, but maybe once things calm down a little!

So far so good. Fresh delicious food and good attentive service, but not over attentive or annoying like at some places. Finally there is a proper chain restaurant in Bastrop, clean with high standards. We had to wait about 15 min to get inside and then maybe another 10 to be seated. It was 11 am Saturday. Shrimps for appetizer were great, super fresh Caesar salad, very delicious Parmesan crusted chicken and pork chop. We sure enjoyed our lunch here.

Went on the day after they opened. Put our names on the waitlist before we got there and only had to wait 10 minutes when we arrived. Flos filet was cooked to medium rare perfection. The bone in ribeye is thinner than expected, had a great flavor but was a little over cooked ( we requested medium rare as well) since it was thin. The chowder was great. The shrimp app is amazing. Brussel sprouts were great! Sign up on the website and get a free app before you go(not sure if they do it all the time)! – all in all we are happy to welcome Longhorn steakhouse to Bastrop!

Went in for a birthday celebration for myself with 4 other family members on a super busy Saturday night. And this place just opened but the staff was amazing all night! It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Rowena was our waitress and we will ask for her everytime now love her! Torry the manager 10/10 ! Charles and Evan were awesome as well great memories It made our night! Ty!

Everything was so wonderfully flavorful. The Wild West Shrimp is my absolute favorite from Longhorn and I’ve had it hundreds of times. Here, they seasoned it the way it is supposed to be. The best I’ve ever had! Service is already impecable for a brand new restaurant. Looking forward to visiting again.
