If I could give this place 6 stars I absolutely would. Staff was attentive and friendly. The food was EXCELLENT!! Portions were big and the food was all clearly made from scratch. We live 3 hours away and I will absolutely be making more trips to Hutchinson just to eat here! The boneless wings were hand battered and big – definitely recommend the BlackBerry BBQ sauce and Dill Pickle dry rub! The chicken Philly was so good! If you are in the area this is a diamond in the rough – DO NOT MISS OUT!

This was our first time here since it was renamed MC’s Pub. I was disappointed.

The menu was VERY limited. I miss the choices that were available from the former MC. The mushroom Swiss burger presentation was good but the taste was one of the worst I’ve ever had. It was tasteless and bland. They have burgers with Velveeta cheese–really??

I was also disappointed in the plastic glasses used for the beverages. This is NOT supposed to be a fast food place.

The waitress was okay but she should have visited more to refill our drinks as there was only one other group in the place.

I like the new arcade area as it is very modern and it looks like fun for kids and adventurous adults.

I’m also a firm believer that the CC fees should be buried in the menu pricing instead of disclosing it as a billing item. I won’t be dining here again as it wasn’t a good experience.

Overall this place was OK. The burgers were subpar at best. I asked for no pink and fully cooked. My burger as pictured clearly wasn’t fully cooked the way I asked. I ate it in full and it was alright but not what I asked for. The cheese curds were really great except a tiny cup of marinara is $1. Most sauce extras are .25-.50. The wings were amazing though! I will come back, but just for wings. I had half maple bacon sauce and half blackberry BBQ. The server barely came to our table and even said sorry for neglecting your table I was seating a 10 top. Mind you there was about 5 waitresses working and the place isn’t that big. When we walked in they were all standing around and chatting. Overall the experience was okay.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. There was lots of parking along the street just outside. Inside, we found the main room spacious and uncrowded. There were TVs tuned to different sports, but the noise level was fine.

Service was good throughout our meal. My husband and I took advantage of the buy 1 get 2 drink special, as he had a Castle Danger beer and I had a black cherry cider. Our son had a Coke.

For our appetizer, we had the traditional cheese curds. They were tasty, nicely hot, and there was a good amount. The hot honey side wasn’t overly spicy, but it was so runny that it barely left flavor as a dip. A thicker creamed honey would probably work better.

My husband had a burger and my son had the macaroni and cheese. They both really enjoyed their meals. I ordered the strawberry chicken salad, which I’ve gotten before at the Cottage Grove location, but this was not the same salad at all. It was entirely on iceberg lettuce and it had barely any toppings and almost no dressing. The picture I’ve attached shows what it looked like when it was set down in front of me. It was bland to the eyes and bland to the taste buds. When I got home, I looked up my past online review of the Muddy Cow in Cottage Grove (June 2023) and the difference was even starker: that past salad had bright green, crisp lettuce and loads of toppings. The chicken breast was even browned, while this Hutchinson take had white meat that pretty much blends in with the iceberg lettuce.

Really, this was a great lunch but for the absolutely lackluster salad.

The Reuben Skins were super delicious. I’d get those again for sure. Forgot which burger I ordered, but it was good too, along with the dilly fries! Was in Hutchinson for work training and ate here 2 nights in a row 🙂 !

Loved this place as Muddy Cow 5/5. Have gone to MC’s Pub now twice and it unfortunately got worse. We went opening day when they had the extremely limited menu. Burgers and fries were okay but fresh. Went a couple of weeks ago again knowing that they had added a few more things to the menu. We got burgers – super dry, fries – okay, drinks (still in plastic cups – so wasteful), and pretzel bites with cheese – they were so incredibly stale and hard plus the cheese was cold, straight from a can it seemed. Do not plan to go back unless some more changes are made. So unfortunate to lose a great restaurant in town.

Great burgers. Except for the one with an egg and fried banana peppers on it. They teased old. Although the people I was there with ‘s burger were better. Not so bad for a first time. Love that they have a pool table too.

Loved it and will come back when in the area! There’s pool and drinks, great food, a fun atmosphere, and the service was fantastic! Wouldn’t recommend paying 7.00 for another burger patty as it’s not worth it, but the pizza was great, the wings had lots of meat and sauce, and the burger options are varied and interesting, plus they taste great. Shout out to Jada, who was attentive, funny, and personable despite us being undecided and slow to order lol. 5 stars all around!

We use to love this place. Pretty standard drinks which hasn’t changed. But the food, is just devastating. They use to have an amazing menu with many different options for unique burgers that were always amazing, now, they have 5 options for very generic burgers. No pastas, no sandwiches, just some basic burgers and frozen bar pizza. The cheese curds were very good but I won’t be going out for food just to get cheese curds. It appears with the rebrand that they only want to be a part of the bar scene. My family will not be back until something changes with the menu.

Super disappointed with the rebrand/menu changes – very limited options and what is available isn’t great. My cheeseburger was incredibly tough and salty and the fries are subpar. We used to love the Muddy Cow! MC’s Pub is a bummer.
