Our Bob Evans Thanksgiving meal was an absolute, unacceptable failure on every front, from food quality to basic order accuracy. This was a disastrous experience that ruined our holiday dinner.
First, the order was fundamentally incomplete. The missing gravy was not a minor oversight (we ordered additional gravy); it was a critical component necessary for the meal, and its absence only amplified the dryness of the main course.
The quality of the food provided was genuinely appalling. The turkey was not just dry; it was petrified, visibly shriveled, and completely inedible. It was clearly a stale, overcooked disgrace. Similarly, the accompanying bread/rolls were unequivocally stale and rock-hard.
The most severe issue, however, involved a major food safety violation: the corn side dish contained a foreign object. This unsanitary discovery meant the entire dish had to be immediately discarded, demonstrating a total breakdown in quality control and food preparation standards.
This entire meal was an insult to the holiday and a shocking display of low standards.

I had quite possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had in a restaurant yesterday evening. There seemed to be only one waitress. She was very nice and very overworked. We waited quite a while to be seated and then waited a long time to have our order taken. It took a long time for our food to arrive. The waitress brought out our rolls so we would have something to eat while we waited. Unfortunately they were rock hard. I are one but couldn’t eat the other. When the food finally came, the fried chicken breast was clearly overcooked. It had a rubbery consistency to it. I have actually never sent food back before. The waitress offered to bring something else out for me. She said the pot roast would be the quickest. I agreed to have that. When she brought it out it was a very small amount of pot roast with a scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy. I thanked her and ate it because I was hungry. I had already eaten some green beans and mashed potatoes from the earlier plate. That tasted okay. My husbands meal was also overcooked but he ate it. I am going to be having a medical procedure done so this is the last meal I will eat for about a day and a half.
A man, who I’m guessing was the manager, came out to help clear tables. He was barking orders at the hostess. She seemed to be fairly new to her job. I felt sorry for her and the waitress. We haven’t been to Bob Evans for several months and probably won’t be going back anytime soon. I definitely don’t blame the waitress. She tried her best.

We were heading back home and passed a ob Evans I asked the wife has she ever eaten at one. She had not, further down the road we found one and stopped in. I got a burger with hash browns egg and bacon on it with fries it was delicious but the wife’s roast beef sandwich was Soo good. Needless to say she was impressed the restaurant was clean and tidy the staff was friendly and attentive, will probably be stopping at more Bob Evans down the road great experience.

Showed up at lunchtime to get some breakfast and it was disappointing to say the least. All around terrible, the manager must not work today or something. My biscuits were rock hard, the gravy seemed like it was warmed up and poorly at that, my ham barely seared and my home fries damn near raw, not to mention my waitress that was mostly MIA. Usually love this place, not sure if I’ll be coming back!

Im eating for 2 so I order quite a bit of food. Here the portions are huge and budget friendly. This is my 3rd time ordering delivery from this place and 2 out of 3 were perfect.
Each time I ordered French toast with blueberry topic, banana bread, omelet, and a side of potatoes. I like that they have a no meat option. Other places make you order meat with your breakfast. I also like that I had blueberry as an option, my daughter is allergic to strawberries and most places only have strawberries as a fruit option.
I also have to say that…look at these photos. The French toast is as large as the plate and I get 2. I also like that they send whipped topping, I give that to hubby for his banana bread and a steel some for my toast hehe. 2 out of 3 times this was in the package but this last time they didnt include it. I wish they had grits on the delivery menu. I called and asked about it and was told they stop serving grits after a certain time which is why it’s not on the delivery menu. I thought this was strange since you can order other breakfast.
Overall, good food, great pricing, almost consistent. If they get the order consistency correct then I can update to 5 stars. Otherwise, I like Bob Evans and will be ordering breakfast more often.

We came in as a party of 9 and had the best experience. Jennifer our waitress was EXCELLENT in every aspect; she greeted us with a smile, she was kind, and took time to communicate with each child even my nonverbal nephew. The food was delicious, hot & seasoned to perfection. Portions were large for a reasonable price. The restaurant was clean & fully staffed. I’d recommend Bob evens to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

We ate brunch here, and it was delicious! The food was cooked perfectly, and they have some of the best restaurant gravy I’ve ever had. Usually, you can tell when gravy is premade—too salty, too peppery—but this was well-balanced and reminded me of my dad’s gravy, which I haven’t had in years.
The hash browns were crisp on the outside with tender potato inside, and the biscuits were moist, tender, and golden brown. The bacon was just the way I like it—thick, slightly crispy, but still with a good chew.
We also tried their cold brew, which had a great, clean coffee flavor without that odd aftertaste some places have. We were pleasantly surprised to get free refills, which most restaurants don’t offer.
The atmosphere was relaxed and very clean, and our server, Felicia, was wonderful—laidback, friendly, and genuinely kind. I left feeling like I’d made a new friend.
