The food here was wonderful! Though I went with fajitas, they offer some different things than the typical Midwestern Mexican restaurant. The salsa was delicious, as were the homemade hot sauces. I loved my meal, and my mango marg was also amazing! I’d go out of my way to eat here again if I’m passing through Lafayette!

I ordered two mojarra frita and 3 burritos. They messed up every burrito I had two-only carne asada, beans, cheese and sour cream. I had one only carne asada, beans, and rice. One came with sour cream cheese and carne asada, one came with beans cheese and carne asada, the last one came with only beans and carne asada. For paying 14.03 per burrito and for every burrito to be messed up is pretty upsetting. I only ordered here because its 2 mins from my house and im getting sick so I didnt feel up to cooking dinner for my four children. The mojarra was good though but very expensive 22$ for one. Im glad they forgot the beans on the one burrito because it tasted like straight garlic. My kids didnt eat their burritos but instead shared the fish. I bought two because I called and was told they were small. They were small so the kiddos ate that and the one burrito without beans and the other two burritos went in the trash. Also was very overpriced priced. Total was 93.81

01/17/24- Señor Tacos didn’t sound Mexican to me. My wife had been wanting to take me because I’m picky about the Mexican restaurants here.
I’m glad I went. You walk in and you can seat yourself at any clean table. It says so when you walk in.
My wife loves Horchata and that’s the first thing she ordered. I asked about the special’s but they have the same price and menu all day.
They bring chips and salsa while you wait. The salsa isn’t hot, so you can enjoy the wait. It’s homemade and a knock off or store bought.
Our server was Nancy. She was great. She made recommendations on the different combos and explained what I get with the different combos.
The menu has lots to choose from. I like the Molcajete because it has a little bit of everything. I love cactus and grilled jalapeños. I like shrimp, chicken, carnitas, asada and chorizo.
My wife got the chicken fajitas. You can share them as they give you plenty. They’re not stingy with the chicken, so you’re not stuck with bell peppers
They bring out two different salsas to go with the meal. One was green and the other tasted like habanero. Use a chip to try them. I think the spice is perfect for the heat but still enjoy the food.
Nancy checked on us and we were never out of drink. She is pleasant and has been there for years. Thanks to the service and delicious food I told my wife I think this is our place!

I went to dinner here after seeing amazing reviews online. My sister and I ordered a chimichanga and a burrito. The rice was MUSHY! My burrito had big chunks of tomato very awkwardly sized. We waited forever. I tried to keep calm and be understanding but THEN the server asked if I wanted a box in which I responded YES. She said okay and proceeded to take my food and throw it in the dumpster right in front of my face. What a waste of time and money. Also the salsa tastes like ketchup forewarning and the large queso was actually snack size. Find somewhere authentic unless you like trash.

Really nice Mexican restaurant with great customer service. The indoor area is clean and bright with a welcoming atmosphere to it. It was a quick lunch break and all I ate was the chicken soft tacos and seemed kinda bland to my taste but maybe the other foods have a higher taste quality.

Great service!!! Fantastic flavor!!! Will definitely be returning for more. Margarita’s affordable and tasty. Service is usually super great. It’s a seat your self place.

We had a very pleasant first experience over at Senor Taco. It was my GF’s birthday dinner which they served her a flan dessert since it was her birthday. The daughter of course ate it though and enjoyed it for what it was since the GF does not like custard style desserts.
I had a Chimichanga and it was ON POINT! My youngest daughter had chicken fingers which she said was a bit spicy because of the seasoning used but was very good. I watched my GF try to down this monster of a daiquiri without getting lightheaded.
We also had 2 orders of the Chicken and Steak Fajitas and it was very well flavored and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Also, we had this great server who was super pleasant and attentive.

Senor Taco was a very nice restaurant. it has a good atmosphere… TV had video of some young ladies 15h birthday playing… I assume it was the owners little girl.
Ordered steak burrito with one steak taco…
Meat was over cooked, but as you see in the picture it was enormous and overall really tasty.
wife ordered aros compolo and she was really impressed.
