My husband took me to this Mexican resto earlier today for lunch after our grocery shopping. Patty was our waitress – she was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary chips & salsa were delightful. I had guapo’s bowl and my husband had chimichanga – both dishes were delicious. We had to take them home cause the serving portion was for sharing (at least for me). Overall experience was great. I think we just found our go-to Mexican resto.

I had been longing for real Mexican food and pulled off the main highway in Monroe, NC, at an attractive Mexican restaurant. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive. BUT, the food was TO DIE FOR!! The portions were large, hot and very delicious. The Mexican music was great, even though I don’t understand Spanish. I couldn’t eat it all and of course asked for a to-go box. I would wholeheartedly recommend El Vallarta for authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine.

Our family LOVES El Vallartas! We have been eating there for over 30 years now, as our children “grew up” eating there weekly, which continues to this day. Very friendly managers/owners and wait staff, and the food is the best “Mexican food” in Monroe, in my humble opinion. If you haven’t been there yet give them a whirl, I believe you will be happy that you visited.

The trio fajitas were good, the mexican street corn had too much mayo. The service wasn’t the best. We had to ask a server that had a different section in the restaurant to give us a refill. As a Travel Business Owner i love doing market research so that I am able to refer my clients to different restaurants.
