1st time at Dee’s, and the place was cozy. I ordered the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and corn. The mashed potatoes were a fresh smashed potatoe, not fake. I like how they only used one piece of toast and the beef was tender and flavorful. The only thing was I thought that there could of been a little more gravy. Other than that I would definitely order this again. My Mom ordered the Liver and onions. She said the liver was tender and was tasty. She also enjoyed the fresh smashed potatoes. Service was prompt, and the restaurant was clean. It gave you that old school vibe. I would definitely come back another time, and try something else on the menu. Maybe even save room for one of there deserts they have that looked delicious!

Me and my Family always enjoy this place and we go here whenever we are together. The food is always great. They have so much to choose from on their menu. Mike is always greeting us and he is always working hard and is also very polite. We appreciate you for all that you do. The cooks are the best. The bus boy is also a kind person. I’ve never ran into any issues and the prices are fair for what you get. Keep up the great work! You gained a customer for life!

I stopped in here for the first time today. I will say this place lives up to its name, it definitely appeals to old school Americana diner fare with a retro look. This layout will appeal to the older crowd who grew up in this time period, but younger people will probably be turned off by it.
I had a large stack of pancakes; they were big, filling and not too expensive either but not all that tasty. The ladies and old guy who brought my food out were all friendly, but I could tell they were overwhelmed by the traffic and it made it difficult to check up on everyone consistently.
And I should mention, the parking lot is filled with big pot holes that will need to be filled in eventually.
In all, the food is good and is set at an affordable price for the amount you get. But it’s not the best diner in the city, I still prefer the Enchanted Cafe next door.

Ugh. What a waste of $ & time. The nicest person we met did not even work there. It was a customer leaving that told us to sit anywhere (after waiting several minutes to be seated). It had a cozy atmosphere, but the table was dirty. We sat there for about 10 minutes before I went to the counter requesting it be cleaned The owner waited on us, and was a sourpuss. She did not seem be happy to be at her own establishment. She forgot my potatoes, and got an attitude when I asked her to please get them. Everything, including the toast, tasted like 3-week old multiple use frying grease. Such a disappointment. Needless to say. I will not be returning.

My client passed away a few weeks ago. His wife and son wanted to have a small repast dinner there. They had us in the middle of the diner and pushed the tables together so we all could sit. Some had sat a the booths but the majority of us were at the long table. We were anywhere between 20 and 30 people. The Staff were very friendly & kind. When other customers walked in they looked at us and smiled as we smiled back, with a nod and a hi. My Mother, Auntie, and I felt peacefully comfortable. We were the only 3 African-American people that came to the repast dinner. The staff were interactive with us as they were with everyone whom came into their establishment. We felt nothing but love. We will be back. ~Love Always TONTI ~

First time there. Well worth the trip. Best salads ever served in a restaurant and our dinner was amazing. The two of us could have shared our dinner that’s how much food they serve. Price is reasonable and friendly place. We will go back again

It was delicious. My wife got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. She raved about the meatloaf. We also had a slice of home made flan cake This was the 3rd time we have been here it is so woth the drive to Barderton. Deffently a hidden gem and so worth going to. Next time we hope to be there while one of many car shows are happening.

It’s a trip back into the past at Dee’s 50’s Place Diner and that’s exactly what we were hoping for. Lots of cool memorabilia (the Elvis Cuckoo Clock is really interesting) and a casual, chill experience.

The omelette that I ordered was HUGE for probably half of what other restaurants would charge. Great service and location. We’ll be back for another meal soon. A real gem that many in the area don’t know about…yet.

Came for breakfast today Saturday 9/20 and the owner Dee was just rude and yelling at the young girl who works normally. We come there a-lot an the young girl is always spunky and happy today was not a very pleasant day coming there for us!!! If the owner is there when we come we plan to not stay!!!!!!
We love coming there for not just the food but the service we usually get! Beside that my Western omelet was fabulous as always
