I visited the Mountain View Restaurant in September 2025, following a visit to the zoo down the road. Lunch prices were very reasonable and a good selection – main dish plus 2 sides! The food was very good and served quickly! I also enjoyed the friendly servers and the Christian contemporary music playing! I couldn’t believe it when I heard my favorite band, Petra, playing!
There did not appear to be a lot of parking, which was in front of the building.
I will plan to return to this restaurant when in the area the next time. I highly recommend!

We sat at Elivis’s table and we’re all shook up, lol. Super cute decor. Very clean and very friendly! We are from Florida and we can’t even get this good of seafood there! Super fresh, cooked to perfection, lightly battered and seasoned so well. Huge scallops, delicious catfish, white fish and shrimp. My husband can eat a lot of food, but his portion was huge and he couldn’t finish it! Collard greens were very good and the corn was so sweet. I love that they make their own ranch, tarter and cocktail sauce. Definitely going back again and again. Judy was the sweetest waitress and right on the spot with refilling our drinks.

Had to try this Limestone staple. Always drive by and finally went in for Friday night dinner.
Packed as we usually see it. Love that for a community.
We got one Small/Senior size 2 item plate of scallops and catfish (fried). These were tasty, but really only taste the coating.
Sides of cottage cheese and side salad w balsamic vinaigrette (whole bottle!)
The salad was sad as it was super tiny shredded lettuce and just didn’t seem that fresh.
My husband got the daily cat fish special 12.99 for 3 catfish tenders and side salad and green beans. It was a sad looking/emptyish plate. I fed him some of mine.
Beans were sugary was his comment.
Maybe next time if we come back we’d try the grilled options
Atmosphere needs some help cleaning and some thoughts on areas.
Remove the fish tanks (which we didn’t even see and add more seating.
1st booth in restaurant was not even used for customers, but for supplies and waitresses to gather??
Our waitress was super sweet!

I had country fried steak with white gravy. I had been craving it. Hit the spot. I also had a salad and fried green tomatoes. The salad was fresh and enjoyable. The fried green tomatoes had wonderful flavor. I just wish they were cut thicker.

We had the catfish. The food was good, a little undercooked for my taste, but that’s my personal preference. The food came out fast but the server didn’t come back to check on us. I had to get my own to go box from a stack I saw near our table. No big deal, but room for improvement.

I want to start off by saying the food was great! I had the fried shrimp dinner the shrimp were amazing! And not tiny little popcorn shrimp these were jumbo! My friend got the all ypu can eat catfish, absolutely loved it! Our waitress was incredible very friendly and attentive! All the workers were great! If you like seafood I highly recommend it!

Husband ordered flounder grilled with lemon butter, mashed potatoes and salad.
I ordered white fish grilled with lemon pepper, baked sweet potato, mixed vegetables and salad.
I found it offensive to see the wait staff sitting in the first two booths, talking amongst themselves when drinks needed to be filled.
The food arrived hot and the roll was good.
