Decent restaurant connected to the Lamplighter hotel. We tried the breakfast because of the reasonable prices. Called and ordered to pick up to avoid the service charges and gratuities. The kids breakfast includes a decent size juice or milk. Bacon was a bit too well done for the kids but overall good food. Highly recommend and will definitely try the dinner menu next time.

It was okay. The dinner entrees were good. The desserts were overpriced for mediocre frozen stuff not made in house. The menu said the chocolate cake came with French vanilla icecream but it arrived without. She got us icecream after but it wasn’t french vanilla. We asked for the strawberry cheesecake but it was still frozen and couldn’t be served. Service was just okay. Breakfast was good. Kids got a kick out of the robot that brings the food. Overall, just overpriced and nothing was amazing. It was convenient to not have to leave the hotel for breakfast and dinner.

Really good price and suprising lovely atmosphere. The food at the bar is a really good deal. There is a really big pool area with real tropical trees and water slide!

Pretty sure we all got food poisoning. The fries tasted horrible. Everything was bad. Burger was burnt tasting. I dont know it was just all very bad food and now we are vomiting. I’d personally never go back.

The service is friendly and the place has lovely decor. But the food is average at best. We ordered the calamari and shrimp as an appetizer. The calamari was tough, shrimp was small and both were too crispy and overcooked.
We got the bow tie pasta which was very bland.
That the kids got grilled cheese which was good and the chicken fingers and fries also had overcooked items.
Overall, wouldn’t recommend the place unless you really really don’t feel like leaving the hotel.

Looked like a nice restaurant, couldn’t eat there though because unlike the COUNTLESS other less expensive restaurants I’ve been to with the same food quality, they don’t accommodate shellfish allergies or even try to in any way. The server didnt even ask the cook, she just said “well we serve seafood so we can’t guarantee anything”, found out from asking further that they also don’t have separate fryers, so if your fries taste fishy its from the calamari they fry in the same fryers. At any other place I’ve been to, they at least ask the cooks (who are supposed to be trained to try and accomadate allergens), and not only that, but just turning people away because of their food restrictions is weird and a bad business practice. And for the prices they charge for everything, every dish they serve should be handled with enough care that people shouldn’t have to worry about having allergic reactions from cross contamination.

I stayed at the BW with my 2 children 12 yr-old daughter and 6 month old son, as I normally do every couple months, and I always loved eating here, the food and portion sizes are perfect, the space in the restaurant is perfect for a stroller, wheelchair, walker, etc. Lots of room. We had a new waitress that just started her first shift, she did great. I’ve been coming here with my daughter for the past 12 years, and its great every time. I highly recommend eating here. We had spaghetti and Meatballs, chicken ceasar wrap with fries and gravy, chicken fingers with ceasar salad and mash spuds. We also had room service for breakfast from here, it was super good, and took less then 10 minutes for them to bring to our room, wow! Everything was super delicious and on point. Service was great and fast. Good job to the waitress, all wait staff and kitchen staff. Oh and the little robot machine Robbie that helped bring the food to the table lol.

Waiter was good and tried but kitchen was very slow. The adult food was dried out (chicken parm)and took an hour. Coffee was cold. The children’s menu was generous. Bring the kids but Adults should eat elsewhere.

Made reservations for 4 adults to take our 94 year old father to breakfast. We were seated promptly and the server was attentive and professional. The food quality, unfortunately, came up short. Dad’s waffle was not cooked through, but was burnt on one side. I have no idea how that happens. My meal, an omelette, was like trying to eat a dried out piece of yellow rubber. I can honestly say that it is the absolute worst omelette I have ever had. Very few ingredients. Just a couple pieces of ham, no onion was seen, two slices of sausage about the size of a nickel. Very poor preparation.
As a hardfast rule, we do not send food back to the kitchen, nor complain to staff. We just remember the experience and avoid it in the future.
We attend Shelley’s a few times a year with groups of four to thirty family members, but this experience has left a bad taste in our mouths, literally.
We had intended to have a group of thirty family members for a Christmas get-together. We have done that at Shelly’s for the last three years. Not wanting to take the chance of upsetting a large group, I have now booked elsewhere this year.
On the off chance that management is reading this, you may wish to consider adding a few accessible parking spots. It’s great that your business is flourishing, but the very few accessible parking spots you have are nowhere near enough.
