This past January marked the very first time trying a Ruffolo’s location and was a delightful first experience. My family & I really enjoyed it!
Over the years I’ve had co-workers in particular that live in Kenosha or Pleasant Prairie that claim that the food and especially the pizza are really good here and they’re right!
This IL guy already fell in love with this place after one visit! What I love about this place is the food is delicious at great prices, doesn’t have a thousand bottle wine rack and the ambience is nothing fancy.
This is the way I like to do Italian, just yummy food in a humble setting with down-to-Earth friendly service. Everyone ordered something different which I’m glad so I could get an overall synopsis on the taste of the food in general.
This Italian fare is awesome and the pizza is easily some of the best in town. The Poor Man’s Lobster was really good with a generous portion.
Although not a mystery to the folks of K-Town, Ruffolo’s is a real gem and a bit of a hole-in-the-wall if you ask me. I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner who I met and was very kind.

We’re a group of friends that call ourselves a pizza club who are in search of the ultimate pizza. We heard good things about about Ruffolo’s so we drove up from Illinois to check it out. We weren’t disappointed, great pizza and an amazing team behind it. Our server was fun and engaging. I had a moment before we left to chat with the pizza chef and the owner. All I can say is they seem really proud of what they do and it shows in the product they serve. Kudos to Ruffolo’s for a great night out!

We were 3 people that entered the dining room about 4:15 on a Friday in Lent and soon after meant more folks poured in.
Looking around we saw that several of the bigger tables were empty and those were reserved for parties of five or six or more.
We ordered two fish fries in one order of lasagna. Also salads and lobster bisque. The fish fries and the lasagna were very good but I think the lasagna was missing something? It seems a little short on cheese on the inside and perhaps some Italian seasoning? The service was great also. Yum

Always have great food and friendly service here!! The Henny Penny Broasted chicken is amazing! The calzone and pizzas are excellent too. Probably one of best food values anywhere, so much great food at so reasonable a price.

Depending on the night, it is an absolute cluster trying to park in or around the lot. Use caution when entering and leaving the lot especially in the late afternoon and evening hours with traffic on 52nd street.
I ordered a pizza for takeout. It’s convenient they have a separate door for takeout (prior to 8pm). I arrived shortly after the scheduled pickup time only to find the pizza was slightly more than lukewarm. Taste of the pizza was only okay. The staff that assisted me were pretty friendly though.

We love going here, the pizza crust needs work, lacks flavor, missing salt, olive oil, sugar and yeast flavor, ovens not hot enough, overall toppings and appearance great!! People their awesome, sauce good other foods good, crust needs work, maybe butter and bit of corn meal….. Just not impressed this round….. Love the family atmosphere, I wanted to give constructive insight we’ll be back…

I love this place my family has had 2 parties here now and we will definitely be back! They are so sweet and friendly and on top of everything for you I don’t think I ever had to even ask for anything! I highly recommend this restaurant it has a nice family environment about it and well last but not least the FOOD IS AMAZING!! I love the stuffed shells, and the pizza heck I like it all!! They do have a bar inside also if you were looking to have a drink! We love this place you guys are great. Thank you for being such good hosts!
