The Hyderabad is all about slow-cooking, known as dum in India, much of which is done in the tandoor.. ‘This brings out amazing flavours and textures, which when combined with the rich, perfumed flavours from the spices create one of the best cuisines in the world and it is the home of korma and biryani. Everything is cooked over charcoal – not just the kebabs, but all Hyderabadi dishes. The food isn’t as ‘showy’ as cuisines found in other parts of India – the biryani, for example, looks quite plain, but the texture and taste is just incredible.’

Can’t say anything about the atmosphere as we got it delivered via Grub Hub, but the food was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are great for the prices and there was large portions of protein and veggies in our dishes. My wife and I absolutely loved the paneer naan! Will definitely be ordering again. Keep up the great work.

‼️this place is waay too expensive…I mean 1 naan for $5 and mango lasi for $5..by the time you add taxes and fees..easy $100 for 2 people. Food is great. Wait is too long..they could also be mindful of infection control, the front staff who is handling cash should not be handling silverware that we use to eat. I barely see anyone washing hands. The atmosphere is ok. Very plain. I enjoyed the indian music videos..but the price, I wont be back ♀️‼️

I placed a big order on Grubhub to be delivered and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered everything mild for the sake of my grandparents who I am staying with for the holidays. I normally order medium spice level. Everything was mild enough except for the dal tadka. I liked it but it was more of a medium spice level than mild. I ordered chicken lollypop, gobi manchurian, vegetable samosa, dal tadka, butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, tandoori chicken leg & thigh, vegetable dum biryani, garlic naan, chapati, raita, kheer, gulab jamun, and double ka meta. They were out of gulab jamun so they kindly doubled the two other desserts! Thank you! My grandparents really enjoyed the gobi manchurian, veg biryani, tandoori chicken, butter chicken and garlic naan. I loved everything! It was my first time ordering double ka meta and I loved it!
I highly recommend this restaurant for delivery orders. I’d like to visit and dine in someday.

The Hyderabad Indian Grill in Fridley is absolutely amazing! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. Their Goat Fry Biryani is my absolute favorite — perfectly cooked, tender goat pieces with rich spices and incredible aroma. Every bite feels like real Hyderabadi perfection. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. This has become my go-to spot whenever I crave great Indian food. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I have been ordering from this restaurant for almost three years, primarily for takeout since it’s the closest option to me. Recently, they renovated the interior, and I really love the new look! Now, we are looking forward to dining in. The service has always been great, and the food remains excellent.

Stopped in on a whim for lunch here, quick and friendly service, very large portions, very well spiced and seasoned. Everything was fresh and hot, sauces were balanced and savory. Ordered mixed veggie pakora, chicken curry, matar paneer, regular and garlic naan.
Will absolutely be back, both to dine in and pick up take out.

The food was good, but the service was extremely frustrating.
After we finished eating, we had to wait almost 15 minutes just to pay the bill. We weren’t the only ones—several other customers and DoorDash drivers were also waiting, clearly annoyed.
There was only one person handling the front, and he repeatedly walked to the back and stayed there for minutes at a time, leaving everyone standing at the counter. There was no communication or acknowledgment, which made the wait even more frustrating.
Good food doesn’t make up for poor service. This place really needs to improve how they handle customers at the front desk.

I usually only go to one place for Indian food. I would occasionally try other places and this resturant is the spot for sure! Their spice level is immaculate compared to others. The flavor is good and they give you a lot of meat portion to sauce ratio. Would highly recommend for anyone who loves spicy food.

I’m a huge Hyderabad Grill lover, honestly. They’ve been my go to takeout for years and the in person experience is also great. Delicious food, great portions, and a deep menu are basically all I want in a restauraunt! My personal favorite is the Saag Chicken, and I also like the Dosa quite a lot.
