Roula whom worked as a waitress at Westfield Family Restaurant along with her talented sister Noura. So many great memories!
The last time I’ve been here was during the COVID days when only the Drive thru was open! And my gosh their line was so long!!! But you better believe the food they serve is top notch!
Recently I experienced a bday breakfast here thank you to Ivan and Roula…the first time enjoying breakfast inside the Westfield Family Restaurant since Roula waitressed at this great establishment.
Holy cow what a change but so happy to know they are still providing that great customer service and delicious food!
Holy cow the eggs Benedict!!!!!! Man oh man THIS IS A BENEDICT for sure! the egg was so runny! I had to save the other half for the end of the day because I was so full and the chicken rice soup!
Noah was absolutely right…you gotta crunch your saltine crackers and add that on top of your soup as an added garnish to enjoy it fully.
I highly recommend coming to Westfield Family Restaurant in Plainfield to experience their awesome food quality and wonderful staff service.

I went for my first time today. As I waited in the drive thru I saw a black hair girl light skin with a red shirt on with a guy that was sitting down waiting. Exchanges were made between us I was like what the hell is there problem! . And they ended up working there of all people inside! Got to the window and they clearly saw the exchange. The cook went back laughing, short, medium skin tone short black hair. I left my order and food not asking for a refund! Cook was looking at me the whole time while cooking. Feel lucky to be near such a delicious family owned restraint. You need to try this place, everything is made with top quality ingredients at a still decent price in these difficult financial times. They care about their customers and take pride in the food they make. Bonus: Cheeseburger with everything is perfect, savory, salty and sweet all combined into a delicant brioche bun.

My breaded cutlets were thin, overcooked, smothered in instant salty gravy, an ice cream scoop of instant mashed potatoes ( weak) the only real food was my salad, that cost extra, honestly, it was a Swanson TV dinner minus the free dessert.

Good place if you are really REALLY hungry and nothing on this earth is open other than this. First and last time going to this place. Ordered the “Jumbo” shrimp, nothing jumbo about it. They should just call it “butterfly shrimp” because that’s all it is. Regular shrimp just cut into butterfly shrimp to make it look bigger. Not worth $15 at all, you only get 6 little shrimp. Gyro is okay, meat looks undercooked. Their “Cajun fries” aren’t really Cajun. They literally just soak them in hot sauce. They should call that “Hot Sauce fries”. Cause nothing Cajun about them. Horrible in my opinion. Definitely won’t be going back to this place. Thought I’d try it out since I’ve lived by it for 7yrs and never had it before. Well huge regret.

There is plenty of seating and lots of natural light. Food is amazing especially their BLT club sandwich. You also get self serve free refills & they have iced tea sweet & unsweetened. Staff was great & they brought me my food after ordering at counter. They have 2 seating sections that are separated & containers to take your leftovers home.

Food is always pretty good… However, when asked for a dinner roll with soup they said it would cost $1 a roll. The roll I got was like french bread cut to be made for sandwiches. It looked disgusting too and was not worth $1 a piece, pretty embarrassing…

So this place is definitely a different way of doing a breakfast/lunch spot. Did not realize you have to order your food at the counter. For a first time it is a little overwhelming with all the menu boards. So I got the Greek omelette and tried the cream of chicken rice oj and a water. Got a number and sat down. All the food came out really quick. Server left came back and asked if I got something to drink. I advised her I ordered a oj and water. She said she will check on the oj. Finally came back with it and never returned. So it is like a semi service place. Anyways the omelette was good and hash browns were cooked perfect. Overall food was good service is lack. I feel either you do full service or just self service. Not in between.
