First time trying this place. A friend suggested LAS CARNITAS URUAPAN (guess there are 2 locations) Its in the same parking lot as Amazon on Bear Valley. Really good carnita tacos. Meat was soo good and tender. I can eat alot of tacos and Im not exaggerating when I say 1 taco here will fill you up. 2 tacos and you’ll be stuft. They are MASSIVE! They have a ton of meats to choose from and even offer you a sample of any meat you wanna try first. Ive heard the burritos are enormous and I guess you can also buy cooked meat by the pound here. Place also has a nice salsa bar and girls taking the orders were super nice. Will be coming back soon.

Friday, April 4 th at 9a.m. came to eat with my son and wife bianca, and dulce are always so polite and friendly makes your experience here even better I mean the food is DELICIOUS and the service with BIANCA and DULCE is just outstanding. Owner should be proud having employee’s like this working his/her restaurant.

My first experience with the carnitas was impressive. The carnitas were delicious. Purchasing two lbs of carnitas and a dozen tortillas allowed me to feed 4 people, and they were exceptionally juicy. I plan to revisit and explore different menu options next time.

I love the taste of the meat,but after not eating here for yrs because of food poisoning,I went back,& got horrifically sickened food poisoning,& I know for a fact it was due to improperly handled food towards end of day. If this place actually started taking food handling seriously they would be the best restaurant in the high desert, unfortunately I don’t know if I will ever return. I write this review with love because I want them to get act together,as they do have delicious food otherwise.(Threw up while writing this review)

I’ve been here 4 times. Only once did I experience dry carnitas and the second, I ordered to go and it was some carnitas and the rest was fat the super crispy hard to chew carnitas.
My 2nd visit the store made a big deal because I bought my own Diet Coke. At the time they only had regular Coke. Due to ADA restrictions I asked them to please allow it. The store manager at the time in front of the customers out loud wanted me to explain myself on what my restriction was for needing a Diet Coke. It made me feel uncomfortable because everyone started looking at us. I didn’t tell her because it’s illegal to ask ADA questions like this. She allowed me to keep the Diet Coke but told me next time she will have to ask me to leave.
The food is amazing most of the time. But the service is bad. My most recent visit the employee took my order, mind you it was loud in there that day because the employees yell over each other while chopping of the carnitas is happening in the background. She ended up giving me the wrong order, the employee gave me an attitude saying “you said this, now you have to take it because this is what you ordered.” I politely told her I didn’t want to pay for something I didn’t ask for. The employee thought I didn’t speak Spanish and referred to me as “está.” “Esta me pidió torta de carnitas ahora no se la quiere llevar.” I asked her to please not refer to me as “está.” No somos iguales. She was surprised I spoke Spanish and she just left to the back. Another employee dispatched my correct tacos order at the end.
So yes, your food is good. But the service….your store owner/s would have more business if you had great customer service. As an employee if you lost your happiness here, stop looking for it where you’ve lost it and quit.

Dined in here yesterday the carnitas were cold and ended up getting sick from it its happened to me twice already I thought I’d give them another shot but was not worth it. Service was not the greatest either.

Got some carnitas and chicharrones. Carnitas were ok didn’t have flavor and chicharrones were dry but had good flavor.
