We are from the Cleveland area and in town for a sports tournament. I looked up where to get the best Chicago Italian beef sandwich near our hotel and Beefy’s came up. I’m so glad we stopped in. As soon as we walked in my mouth was watering. It smelled so good. We all got something different and it was all absolutely delicious!

Stopped in for a Saturday lunch, quick and easy counter ordering, burger was really outstanding, fresh and juicy and good bun and topping ratio to meat. Handcut fries were excellent.

Vegetarian options were plentiful and suggestions greatly appreciated.
Cheese fries were fresh, Italian beef combo was a big sandwich good seasoning with the sausage grilled to perfection.
Only issue was the serving paper under the sandwich, it fell apart under the food.

I’M NOT SURE WHAT’S MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOUR TIME OR MONEY? BUT IF IT’S ONE OF THE TWO, DON’T WASTE IT HERE. REAL TALK, GO ACROSS THE STREET TO POPEYES, GO UP THE BLOCK TO PORTILLO’S, ANYTHING BUT HERE HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
First things first, they gave me a gyro plate without a clamshell container because they knew there wasn’t going to be enough for me to take home, who puts cucumbers and green peppers in the gyro in the first place? No feta cheese, their fries were probably good when they made them, YESTERDAY!
That soup is supposed to be vegetable beef, it looked and tasted like the dishwater from washing a beef pan.
If all that garbage didn’t cost me $18 I probably would have thrown it on the floor which I am regretting not doing in the first place because I have had three volcanic eruptions since I left that place .
Look at the lunch special board, $15 for a cheeseburger lunch meal? Where are we right now?
Get real beefies! What you really need to do is get lost, You’re establishment is going to ruin the southside’s reputation.

Large menu and friendly staff, very clean inside. Had a gyro sandwich and cup of soup. Sandwich and soup were very good. I hate having a gyro that constantly drips grease while you’re trying to eat it but this was not the case. They also have sturdy plasticware to eat with not the flimsy kind that bends.
