In 1935, a post-Prohibition tavern named Colony Grill opened in an Irish immigrant neighborhood in Stamford, Connecticut. Since then, Colony has become famous for what is now its only menu offering:a one-of-a-kind, thin-crust pizza that is best served with the signature hot oil topping.

Great beers. Great service. Great pizza. That’s the key too. They focus their talents on one thing…….great pizza. No 5 page oversized menu with a bunch of mediocre dishes. Concise and coherent. I ordered a pizza with a bunch of toppings and where it’s usually soggy and floppy, this thing held its own. Crispy and delicious with every bite. Friendly staff great atmosphere and I loved the music even the stuff I didn’t like.
We came back! Yup, still the best damn pizza EVER!
Thin crust, firm though and everything, the sauce, the cheese, is in perfect balance! And you do t have a bloat belly on after!
The pizza has more in common with midwest/chicago ‘tavern pizza’ (thinner crust but still had a decent chew, not crackers like).
Good selection of beers both “standard” and local draft.
100% is a “coming here again” next time I am in the area
