We sat at the bar at this rustic restaurant. The wait staff was responsive, attentive and welcoming. I had half a Cobb salad. It was still so large that I couldn’t eat the whole thing. It was plump with yummy Cobb salad ingredients: blue cheese crumbles, bacon, ham, turkey, tomatoes, black olives and the dressing was thick, creamy and delicious.

Silverware was dirty. Took forever to get seated. Overpriced by far! The waitress licked her fingers… right at the table…. after accidentally sticking her finger into my blue cheese dressing. Gross!! When I told the manager, she dismissed me like I was being annoying. Will never eat here again.

Wow! We have driven the route back and forth to Duluth many times, but didn’t know this place existed until we did a Google search. Now that we have been here, we want to come back often. The food was delicious. Truly exceptional and flavorful. We especially liked the roast beef sandwich, the Doc Holiday. The price is very affordable well. The service is attentive and quick. One thing I especially liked was that the music is soft enough that it was easy to have conversation. That is very rare! A very pleasant ambiance. The benches at the table are big enough to site four on each side.

Never disappointed! There’s a wide variety of food and it’s always good. We had a large group gathering a few months ago and everyone was impressed with the quality of the food. Service is great as well!

The restaurant is very nice, clean and love the lodge type feeling. Food is excellent, This is gonna sound basic but they have specialty burgers. Absolutely amazing burgers. Just unreal. Cheese curds are amazing as well. They have a lot of different items on the menu. But the burgers just can’t be beat. The camp ground is also extremely nice, staff is great. Very polite and friendly. You definitely feel welcome. Cost for camping is a bit pricey. But being open all year, it’s really your only option for winter in the area. Overall great, clean extremely clean when it comes to camp grounds.

Great atmosphere and food! I had the monte cristo with raspberry sauce and my husband had a buffalo burger. Another had taco salad. All were excellent! Friendly wait staff. Charming decor. A place you’ll want to keep coming back to!

My family probably sat in that restaurant for two hours and we still didn’t get our food. The waiters kept saying that it was coming out soon but it never came. If you’re thinking about going to this restaurant you better bring a fully charged phone and some patience skills.
