Lovely Italian restaurant, great food at reasonable price. Service was really good and the staff was friendly & helpful.
We were in the city only for a night otherwise would have loved to go for at least three courses.
Tip: the pizza from kids menu is same size as normal pizza. So if you got two kids best to order just one to share to avoid waste.
Would recommend reserving in advance as it was full & thankfully we had a reservation.

I’m still craving Italian food in Germany, and tonight I found another Italian restaurant and had to give it another try! It’s been so long since I’ve had it, I missed it so much. I devoured the vegetable gratin tonight by myself; it was really good. The bread was a little hard, which was a shame because it wasn’t reheated. The alfredo pasta was also very good; I highly recommend it. After dinner, I walked to the back and realized there was a large outdoor area. Everyone else was crowded outside, leaving me alone inside. It was so nice to have my own space!

I ate at Da Baggio and overall had a nice, but slightly uneven experience.
The restaurant itself is cozy and pleasant, with a relaxed atmosphere that works well for a casual dinner. It feels welcoming and comfortable, not loud or stressful.
The service was friendly, but there were a few small mistakes. At one point, they thought we were a different group size than what we had clearly said, and later a sparkling drink was served instead of still water. Nothing dramatic, but noticeable and it breaks the flow a bit.
The highlight was clearly the Wildschwein (wild boar) pizza. It was very good, well topped, flavorful, and nicely balanced. The dough was solid and the ingredients worked well together. Considering the fair price, it’s good value and definitely something I’d order again.

Excellent food, staff and atmosphere. Ordered the risotto with steak which was amazing. Had the raspberry sorbet which was also delicious. Wait staff was more than willing to accommodate our English-speaking party, for which, we are thankful. We will be back!

An absolutely amazing restaurant! From the service to the food you will not find a better place in Heidelberg. The portions are a perfect size to leave you satisfied and not too full. The targetelli tossed in the Parmesan wheel topped with truffles is an absolute must have! We then got recommended an amazing local white wine that made us just want to sit and enjoy that moment. This is the restaurant that you go out of your way to be at! Even has a kids corner with books which our kids really enjoyed after they were done eating.

There are much better Italian restaurants in Heidelberg, but still, this is a nice place to visit. Their outdoor seating area is amazing, and the waiters and waitresses are super friendly and welcoming, this is what makes it a brilliant experience for me. I’d recommend it.
