I have eaten here several times and never had a negative experience until today.
We sat at our table for 10 minutes before the server acknowledged us and stopped by to take our drinks. We then waited way too long for rolls. I had the hostess get us small plates after our rolls were finally received without any.
We ordered an app of nachos that we watched sit on the pickup window for 10 minutes.
Kiddos to the kitchen/cook who kept the orders moving until the pickup window/shelf was full waiting to be taken to the tables.
I’ll be back, but hopefully will have quicker better service next time.

We arrived with a party of 5 & was placed on the wait list (approximately 30 minutes). We weren’t concerned about the wait as they really didn’t appear that busy. Patrons were finishing and leaving pretty soon after we were placed on the wait list. Another large group (of 6 -7) arrived while we were waiting. That group was seated before us! There was a couple (2 people) who were waiting before we arrived that got seated just as we were (all while others were had been). When the hostess sat us, she placed us at a table for 4, with only 1 set of silverware. Finally got our drinks ordered, still no more silverware. Our salads were brought out without any additional silverware. The manager stopped by and noticed “many things wrong” but nothing was corrected. There were employees “hanging out” some even smelling like they lit a joint between customers. Once we did receive our food, it was good. It was everything else that failed to make this a pleasurable experience (definitely memorable though).

My steak was very tough. I vould barely cut it and had trouble chewing it as well.I only ate part of it. Their steaks are normally not this bad. Their sweet potatoes are amazing. I like mine with butter and salt..nothing sweet. Our waiter was great. He was helpful and nice. It was noisy but it was also a Friday night..so not unexpected.

Was seating by 4pm. Got our order put in and our drinks. Another couple asked multiple times where their food was. A different waiter told them the food would be about 2-4 more minutes. Finally the couple told the waiter they have been waiting way over and hour and was leaving. Another couple behind up had to walk up to the bar to get their own drink. Our waiter wasn’t bad, but she would hold 4 drinks in her arms, spill it down her shirt. Was constantly reaching over and handing us the food to pass out. The table was able for her to walk all the way around to give to each of us. Another couple at the bar also left. After waiting 1.5 hours we got our food. The kid steak tips were burnt and rubbery. Will not be back.

We stopped in after the lunch crowd. Service was good and food was ok. I felt that housekeeping could have been better but overall a good experience. But waiter was very friendly and attentive.

The food was decent. We had 12 oz Ribeyes added grilled shrimp. I ordered med rare, hubby ordered medium. My steak came out medium, his medium well. The service was well below subpar, drinks not refilled, never asked if we wanted more bread, but the biggest thing was the slowness of the service. We were sat, waited 7 minute to get drink order put in, another 10 minutes before drinks were served, 20 more minutes for our order to be taken, 20 more minutes for our appetizer to come out, 38, yes 38, more minutes for our meal to be served. After all the waiting, we didn’t dare send our food back because we didn’t want to wait another 30-40 minutes for our steaks again. Grant it, it was on a Sunday afternoon. The place was not packed. When the bill finally came, we were over charged for a drink. My husband paid with gift cards. There was a remaining balance and the server did not hand the cards back.

Great food and service! Our waitress Misty was amazing and quick. Didn’t even need to write anything down while we ordered, just remembered every detail. She was very fast when it came to bringing out our rolls, drinks and was quick to ask if we were interested in appetizers. We got the Scratch Made potato skins. They were exceptional and delicious. I ordered a ribeye steak. Hands down was one of THE BEST steaks I’ve ever had!. So good in fact I had to share a piece with my boyfriend to let him try. It melted with each bite, like it was cooked in a butter bath, then seared. My boyfriend even had our waitress to tell the the young man to come out of the kitchen just to compliment him on how great his cooking was! The whole service and experience was truly some of the best I’ve received at a local restaurant in Cape Girardeau. I used to eat at Logan’s years ago but stopped coming by at certain point. From now on it will be a regular stop spot for us! Great job Chef and team!

Service was friendly and reasonably fast, considering how busy it was. Since it was Good Friday, I had fish, which was very good. Baked beans and corn were good as well. The only complaint my companions had was that the Shrimp Scampy had too much garlic. But that’s a personal preference, and I didn’t taste it. I like garlick, so I probably would have liked it.
