Good place for a good breakfast. The staff was very nice. Food was average. Prices are good. Place was clean. Waitress was kind and friendly. Order was correct and served quickly. On the lines of IHOP or Dennys. Portions were good and food was fresh. Would return

We come here regularly. When we walked in, there were only two clean tables. We immediately realized most the regular staff was not present. Most of the tables remained unbiased throughout our entire meal. Our server did apologize for the wait in getting to us. When she delivered our meals, she advised that she owed my dining partner more bacon. Ten minutes later, she appeared with one additional slice of bacon. I had finished my coffee and no additional coffee was offered until she presented us with our check. Then, we had to wait for her to retrieve our payment. The wait was so long, we opted to pay cash. Perhaps the volume of business was larger prior to our arrival; however, it was average to slow during our meal.

I got the biscuits gone wild. The portions were pretty big. For $15 I got this huge pile of biscuits with sausage gravy, ham chunks, shredded cheddar, and a side of home fries and two eggs which were included with the main meal. The taste was nothing short of wonderful and it was very filling for what I paid. I also really like how they use red potatoes for the home fries. The waitress Valerie was the most attentive I’ve ever experienced in any type of restaurant, and very sweet. Coffee was good too. This place easily beats Waffle House and Denny’s in my opinion. I absolutely will be coming back as often as I can as I only live 5 minutes away.

The Real Deal 12401
Hey guys.
Been here on 2 occasions and the only thing I can say is the place is phenomenal. I live about an hour and 20 South Of this restaurant and I will stop here every single time on my way up North. On 2 occasions I’ve been here I’ve never had bad service yet. And talk about speedy. I think these guys are faster than McDonald’s LOL. When it comes to preparing the food every single time I’ve been here the waitress is right on top of things the minute you walk in the door they are there to greet you and treat you like your family. So far I’ve had Mel and Valerie as my servers These 2 ladies are rock stars and I again have never had bad service bad food or anything bad in this restaurant. If you are traveling in the Clifton Park area or up North make Jimmy’s egg. Your first stop for breakfast in the morning because it’s the only place that knows how to do it right. And you must try the cinnamon roll pancakes they are amazing!
As always have fun with what you’re doing and keep it real because you know I do with each and every review.
You’re truly
The real deal.

Somewhere between an iHop and a Cracker Barrel.

Had an off day so I took to having breakfast out, stopping in at Jimmy’s Egg which I drive by all the time leaving work and heading home. Today I finally made the trip just to eat here, and I got to say, I was not disappointed.

Arrived around 10AM to find the place pretty bumping, but being a party of one gave me plenty of seating options; which was self seating so I quickly found a table in a corner. Within minutes a waitress was checking in on me and taking my order, going with a decaf coffee, the Berry Belgian waffle, and the Traditional Breakfast which came with a choice of meat, two eggs, and two sides. (I went with turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a toasted bagel with cream cheese)

Service was fast and I had my meal in less than 10 minutes, with a refill on my coffee shortly thereafter. Everything was delicious too! The hash brows were tender and lightly fried, the eggs were soft and needed no salt or pepper, the bagel was surprisingly fluffy for being toasted and had plenty of cream cheese to spread, and the turkey sausage patties were meaty and ever so lightly spicy. Of course the waffle was next, and what a way to end my meal! It came with just the right amount of syrup, plenty of fresh strawberries and blueberries, and a dollop of whipped cream. It was cooked perfectly, had a kind of hazelnut flavor to it, and filled me right up. Very happy.

All together the total did come to a little over $30, a little steep for a single eater, but the atmosphere of the place was comparable to a classier iHop and the service was much like my previous experiences with a Cracker Barrel; fast, friendly, and efficient. So I vibe with the price tag.

Finally I would like to say that Melody was a great waitress and made the experience all that better, even the girl who brought out my order, who was not Melody but I failed to get her name, complimented me on my appetite saying “I had ordered quite the feast.” Thank you.

The Good:
They were packed and they were fast
The server was very pleasant and attentive
The place was clean
The food was filling and pleasant

Areas for growth:
The food lacked in spice (I am aware many people like it that way so this is just a personal preference)
The diner atmosphere was sufficient but lacked any distinctive character

Cozy atmosphere and as soon as we walked in we’re greeted with a “seat yourself” sign which I don’t think I’ve seen in a restaurant before. Our waiter was very polite and got us set up as soon as she saw us at a clean table. The wait for the food was maybe 10 minutes. We got chicken and waffles with a side of eggs. Comparing these to the ones I had at IHOP… These are way better and the chicken was richly seasoned and crunchy. The waffles were fluffy and crunchy on the outside and the eggs were pretty good too. Our server came back a few times just to make sure we were taken care of even though I could see she was busy. The bill for what we ordered was fair. All in all I would recommend for families and the 4.4 rating after 1000+ reviews is well deserved. O
