This isn’t my first time here, but after today it’ll be my last. I’m trying to figure out how I got dry not fresh brisket. Forget being flavorless the sauce would’ve helped with that…but dry dawg!!! Thick cut and dry mixed in with acceptable pieces. This is 1 1/2 lbs, not cheap. What’s crazy is the rack of ribs were on point! 10 outta 10 for the ribs. The fact that this was given the ok to leave the kitchen and given to me is a slap in the face.

We chose CTH for my birthday based on a friend’s recommendation, and drove 40 minutes to try it, and we loved it!
We started with the cheeseburger, the pork belly bites, and the Brisket Skillet Queso. All three were very well-cooked and it was hard to save room for the mains.
Then we tried Pork Belly Tacos, Chicken Fried Steak, and smoked chicken quesadillas. I’m not usually a fan of pork belly, and I don’t know what they did to it, but it was amazing. The tacos were solidly tasty, but the CFS was the star of the show.
The portions are also very generous, we had to take so much home!
Our server Emily was a darling; she checked up on us regularly, got everything out to us at the right time, and never made us feel rushed to turn over the table. She made sure we had time to enjoy the appetizers before the mains, too, which is huge with me!
We are already planning our next trip to sample all the sides!

Wait staff prompt and friendly. Indoor/outdoor atmosphere great.
The food was ok with plenty of potential in comparison to many Texas BBQ restaurants. Sandwich with fries. The bun was brioche but, just out of the bag. Recommend buttered and/or toasted. Meat was good; asked for lean and got lean. Fries were good but in house made would put you over the top. BBQ sauce was a perfect balance of sweet, tangy and spicy.
Wife got baked potato with chopped beef and was very pleased.

This restraunt is a hidden gem! The food was delicious! The wait staff was very nice! We had an awesome time! The customers were even nice. This is definitely a family friendly place to bring everyone. The music was the best. The kids were singing some songs they knew and they were eating and there were also some Easter eggs placed around for the kids to play with. 10/10 experience. We will be back soon!

Stopped in for the first time this past weekend with the family. We were sat immediately and without issue. Good music playing made for a nice atmosphere. Also had games on the TVs which was great. Watched the Astros while we ate.

3 people in our party got the burger and everyone enjoyed it. Fries were also very good. Daughter LOVES the banana pudding. She says it one of the best in the city.
Good beer selection.
First visit – Wife had the 1/2 chicken and enjoyed it. Green beans were good as were the mashed potatoes. Son had a burger which was big and he enjoyed it as well. I had a sliced BBQ sandwich and a baked potato. BBQ was flavorful, had a great bark and was tender and delicious. The potato was huge. Service was great throughout.
The only downside was the cream corn that we didn’t really care for.
Oh yeah, wife and daughter loved the banana pudding and rated it as one of the best they’ve ever had (and my daughter is a banana pudding afficianado!)
Overall it was a great meal and we’ll definitely be back. We just won’t get the cream corn. Definitely recommend you stop in and give them a shot.

Came here from a saved bbq list and the place did not disappoint. We will be back for round 2
My wife had brisket tacos and u had a two meat plate. Her tacos were near prefect for her and I enjoyed my two meat plate but the beef sausage was fantastical.

Our first time trying this BBQ spot. Looked up something different from the normal place we usually go to. This was a hit! Brisket was good, sausage excellent. Dipping sauce was great. The shrimp tacos were on point! I highly recommend a stop by here. Only drawback was that we came on Sunday, when there was no live band performing. Bummer. Overall, we’ll be coming back.

This place is so neat, a rustic whole in the wall, my favorite type of spot! Funny thing, we came for BBQ and ended up having Mexican food, what can I say we have to test the waters where we go! Excellent choice too, my beef fajita street tacos were impeccable, the right about of grilled and fresh onion, fresh cilantro and lime. Few cold beers at a happy hour price and a nice little view of an outside venue that holds some awesome music events! Service was fast and friendly and I love how this place is right off the beaten path yet a little hidden, a total diamond in the rough!

Oh my gosh you can’t imagine how amazing their brisket is, so juicy, tasty and tender. We ordered family combo #2 with a loaded baked potato, we even can’t finish the whole meal with 5 people, with family combo you can ordered either 2.5lb with 2 meats and 2 sides or you can add $15 for 3lb with 3 meats, we chose the 2 meats and everyone loves the brisket so much, definitely will come back.

First time coming here and it was a good lunch. The cheese with brisket appetizer is soooo delicious! My 3yr and 1yr old loved it as well. Service was good too, our waitress was very attentive and informative of the menu items we inquired about. We came before lunch rush on a Wednesday so it was pretty empty. The place is very inviting as well, even dogs are allowed. Would definitely come again and try out other things from their menu.
