Rude. Under cooked omelet. Didn’t make a huge deal. Was in a hurry. Didn’t eat any of it, mention to staff when paying bill. Rude response. Wait staff was spot on and pleasant:

I hadn’t been in the for a while because it wasn’t very clean and the service wasn’t that great. I would like to say Thank you to the new management that has taken it over. The place has been cleaned up and the service was great. Jessica was very courteous and professional. She got our food to us in a timely manner. The food was good and priced reasonable. I had an opportunity to meet the new manager. She was very nice and thanked us for stopping in. I will be going back again. I recommend you check it out.

I cant say enough good things about this place. If i could give the staff and owner abd thier chefs more stars i would. We had a large family gathering of 8. They made accommodations before we even got there. The food was fantastic. Coney was on point and the cajun fries are better than five guys. Waitress even took our family picture and never rushed us out the door. I appreciate that after a long flight from Florida. On behalf of the Cecil family thank you for a wonderful first day in Michigan.

I stopped visting this place that I have been going to since birth. They were in the tiny place next door, when I first remember. They went down hill, but my sister told me on Thanksgiving they have new owners and are great again. Well we ordered tonight and it was GREAT! Congrats to new owners Steve and family. My son 26 year’s old ( big food critic lol) loved it and said he is so happy it is good again, also he was raised only going to Senate for coneys! Awesome job new owners to bring a staple back after going down hill.

Edited from 5 star (5 years ago) to 1 star based on last two experiences under the new ownership. Received 2 different types of chicken strips for a 2 chicken strip kid meal and the fries were overcooked. My husband’s gyro sandwich was jerky. Black and burnt. We waited like 20 minutes for one scrambled egg. Each piece of food came at a different time. It was horrible. To top it off, when we asked for the burnt gyro sandwich (not edible and not a piece eaten) and scrambled egg (that we still didn’t receive) to be taken off the bill, we were met with attitude and our waitress said ‘I’m paying for it.’ We won’t be back, which is too bad because we actually enjoyed this place before the change in ownership. We didn’t ask for missing items and burnt food so why did we get attitude for it?
The grinch flags they put on the wall are very cute and we enjoyed how it was decorated. 3 stars for atmosphere.

Yes,We came From Ohio to visit our family, we jump off the freeway trying to find a restaurant so we put them into this restaurant walked in a good greeting. I always said not to order the server had a great smile and took our order. We did not have to wait too long for our food. the eggs was on point. We love the omelette and hashbrowns. Great service when we come back again we will stop here first again thank you for the great service we had today this morning.

NEW OWNERS, GIVE EM A CHANCE. We had a great breakfast, food was cooked to order, and the server was efficient and very attentive. The restaurant was clean and appealing. The restrooms were clean and presentable. They do need a new toaster as im not a fan of their toast. Update: 6/12/24 We will not be going back until they get a new toaster. The toast is horrible, and they’ve stated they were going to get a new toaster for weeks. 7/23/24: The cook (Jerry) is very disrespectful to the waitresses. This needs to be handled by management soon before moral drops to a catastrophic level.

The classic greasy spoon dinner a staple of America. Not much has changed inside over the decades and what that means is the taste has been consistent. I recall coming here in the 90s with my grandparents for lunch. So this recently stop brought back some good memories.
