Recommended by a friend I was unsure what to expect regarding an Italian restaurant in the heart of Mexican cuisine. My server Samuele immigrated from Sicily in 2019 and was fluent in a few languages. Very personable and attentive. The ambiance of the establishment is welcoming and family friendly. The majority of patrons consuming beers with Stromboli or pizza. I had acquainted myself in advance with the menu selection and was eager to try the chicken risotto Florentino. However that was not on the menu. As a northern Italian descendant I was excited to find many dishes available in cream sauces typical of northern regions. The menu selection is extensive and varied for any taste including an Angus burger if the craving is there. My order of penny boscaiola included a rich cream sauce generously incorporated the baby Bella mushrooms along with ground meat and ham. The dish included a “small” salad which would have been a full meal by itself at my house. The salad vegetable were crisp and fresh with a solid crunch. Lettuce, red onion slices, shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes and very large olives with dressing on the side. The servings are adequate for two people so I was not alone in bringing home half my meal. Paired well with an unnamed pilot grigio. The prices were exceptionally low so I left a sizeable tip in compensation for pre COVID prices. Strongly recommend. Just 20 minutes from Buckeye and off route 8 on way to/from Yuma. A hearty affordable meal with friendly atmosphere. Although I was a solo diner I did not feel the awkwardness that sometimes happens with full occupancy. An old fashioned family establishment for passing tourists, families or date night. A few young people were on a date, one of the few places still affordable.

What a gem! Very good Italian, as good as anything in Phoenix. Young, friendly and funny staff that got the order 100% right! Fabulous food! If you’re getting pizza, DO get the “gourmet” pizza. It’s really a traditional “Italian-American” Pizza, but very well done, with premium ingredients (so they say, and it sure tastes premium to me) and homemade crust to die for. Salad? Try the Antipasta Salad. Comes with a big, fresh sesame seed bun, and it’s big enough to split. I took my order out, so my 5 star on Atmosphere is based on my excellent experience with the Food and Service.

What a great family resteraunt to stop at while on a road trip. My kids loved the pizza slices they ordered and my husband and I split a chicken parm sandwich. I really liked that for a couple extra bucks we could split it officially so that each of us could have our own salad order (sandwich came with the salad). The last thing I need on a road trip is left overs in the car so I was really pleased about being able to order just what we needed. We’ll definitely stop here again the next time we’re passing through!

A friendly spot for fantastic pizza. Best sausage I’ve ever had on a pizza! Everyone seemed to be having a good time – families, truckers, motorcycle riders. Staff is accommodating and warm. Definitely will be back. Thank you and happy 2026

Fresh made when?
And then frozen?
Then heated up for my order? I wonder. More than likely. Tasted like it.
Still cool inside when served to me.
The lasagna was a small piece… Covered in a ton of cheese and sauce. Way to much. Which I had to dig through to get to the piece of lasagna. And stating again… not warmed inside.
Okay… reference the pizza… The lasagna had the same internal items that were on the pizza toppings. What… Really. And ham slices. As seen on the pizza sitting in front of me.
It was terrible. I cut through it. Had a few bites and still terrible.
I quite eating it.
The waitress saw this, however, did not ask me how I like the food, or ask is everything okay? Odd.
Also, this waitress had no business being one. No hello, or even a personality on conversing with customers.
FYI… The pizza looked as good as the lasagna tasted. Very disappointed on food, service, etc… And the water tasted as if taken out of a rusty bucket. I’m not kidding on the above review.

This was a good place to stop on our road trip. Our server was very nice. The food was good, especially the fresh bread they brought out with dinner. I’m glad they brought it with our entrees or I would’ve just filled up on the bread.
