So yummy! The original restaurant in Highsprings. So many choices but settled on an old fashioned patty melt on rye with grilled onions. Made to perfection with petite tater spots and Tea. Comfort food at its finest!

Bev’s delivers that true home-cooked goodness—juicy burgers, flavorful grilled chicken, and crispy onion rings that hit just right. But the real star of the show? The fried pickles. My favorite favorite favorite. Light, crunchy, perfectly seasoned… truly unmatched.
If you’re ever in town, do yourself a favor and stop by Bev’s. Highly recommend!

You’ve all watched a movie where there’s a small town cafe where everyone knows everyone else. The staff is friendly. The food is exactly what you were looking for. You just found it. This is the restaurant that I go to for convenience. It’s close to home, breakfast and dinner hit the spot and the staff treat everyone as if it’s a small town cafe. Because that’s exactly what this is. I like it even more for that.

I absolutely love Bev’s Cafe in High Springs! Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast of eggs and pancakes or a delicious lunch with options like burgers, fried chicken, and BBQ, they never disappoint. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the variety on the menu ensures there’s something for everyone.
What really stands out is their fast, friendly service. The staff truly makes you feel welcome, and the affordable prices make it easy to keep coming back again and again. My only wish is that they were still open for dinner—I’d happily enjoy their food in the evening too!
If you’re in the area and looking for a great spot to eat, Bev’s Cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Low key, old-school restaurant vibes. A friend took me here when I lived in Gainesville FL for 2 years. A hidden gem all the way up in high springs away from the hub bub. Food was good and staff down-to-earth. Highly recommended for a laid back dining experience.

We met as a work group of 11, the waitress asked if all orders were separate, we said yes. The waitress took our orders by the three tables we occupied as separate tables (pushed together), 3 orders, then two tables of four orders. Our orders and drinks were taking in just the same order 3, 4, & 4 persons. The orders came out the same way 3, 4 & 4, over the course of 12- 15 minutes apart. When we received our checks, the restaurant automatically added the gratuities, the waitress did not tell us, and some people were tipping on top of an already added tip. When we asked the waitress, about it her response was, this is restaurant policy on parties of 6 or more. Once again, we ate together but had separate checks, also, we thought tips were based on service, not mandatory. We believe the waitress should have been up front about the so-called policy as they do in upscale restaurants. And Last but not least, we would have tipped better than the Mandatory gratuity…

Glad we decided to support local on our visit to Ft.White/High Springs area because these burgers and fixins were dern good! Go ahead and stop in here before the rush comes! We went about 11am on a Sunday and were able to be seated immediately. But, soon after, the church crowd came a rollin in, so that’s a peak time for them! My group thoroughly enjoyed our corn nuggets and broccoli cheese bites as appetizers, so heavenly that I see why the church crowd flocks to this place! Then, we chowed down on our onion ring burgers and sliced beef bbq sandwich, which we were all pleased with, very yummy, burgers cooked perfectly! Curly fries for a nominal upgrade fee is the way to go! Everything we ate we would order again and would come back during our next visit to the area. The atmosphere was the as expected down-home, laid back vibes of a country kitchen. Our waitress was Teya/Taya (butchered spelling for sure) and she was great! She gave her honest recommendations when we asked burger or bbq and was very attentive to our needs. We were able to eat quickly and menu is reasonably priced. Will return!

Good little greasy spoon. Huge menu, fair prices. The staff is warm and friendly. Only 1 handicap parking spot though.

This place is a really nice southern Cafe. Service was amazing. I was just disappointed in the burger. I eat at bevs burger right down the road, and it’s easily the best burger in the area, including Lake City.
I got a bacon and egg burger. At this Cafe, it was bland as could be. I don’t think a single bit of salt or pepper was added to the burger. Fries were decent, but unsalted too. 3/10.

We really enjoyed having both breakfast and dinner here. They actually served chicken, liver and chicken gizzards which my wife had for dinner and she said they were really good. I tried their chicken fried steak and I found it fairly good. Overall not a bad place to have breakfast and lunch
