For about $12.80ish I got a double cheeseburger with everything on it, an order of fries and a fountain drink.
The fries reminded me of the original old school McDonald’s Fries like the good pre 2000’s version.
The burger was substantial, with hot & sweet peppers, mustard, that perfect melting cheese and just the right amount of grease umami flavor.
The place was fairly busy and filled with a mix of locals and people who were seeking a good comfort food.
You can tell this place is a burger institution and have kept their prices reasonable.

The patty was very thin, the bun is a cressoint.. I ordered a Swiss cheese and please.. look at the pictures. Almost 20 dollars with tip and a milkshake. No substitute for a soda plus a little more for a shake. The fried are shoelace fries. They were good.. Not going back. Sorry.

Always good food at a great price. Staff is pleasant and building is clean.
However the reason for 3 stars is that online orders seems to take longer than the apps state. I was told that my estimated pickup time would be 30 minutes by the app for 6:03PM for the food to be ready. I arrived around 6:08 PM and gave my name for the order was told a few more minutes which was fine. I sat and waited an additional 40 minutes before I went up again to ask for the status of my order. It was prepared and sitting at the back area with all the other prepared food. I asked how long the food was waiting and was told she just finished the order. I truly do doubt this as my fries were already getting cold in the bag. No one called the name for the finished order and I know the person may be just trying to cover for the delayed time and she did apologize but I would honestly avoid placing orders online as I order 4 sandwiches , fries and a salad and it was almost an hour wait. Again food is good but the service was not the best for this visit. My advice would be just order when you arrive as it may just be quicker and easier otherwise you will be invisible if your order is not ready at arrival. At least let a customer know it’s going to be longer or have a better process for people who have arrived for their orders especially during a busy hours.
Edit December 2025, I did call and the manager did explain they were having issues that night with their systems and apologized for the issue. I will have to try again to see if the experience has gotten better but I appreciate the management for also reaching out.

As a food truck owner myself , I was curious to see what the restaurant was offering since we saw how many food trucks they had . I was going to give a four stars due to the nice cashier that helped me, but the cooks took that point out. I waited about 20 mn for my food with no apologies when I mentioned that some orders got served prior to mine. Cheeseburgers / fries were affordable and ok.

Ordered on grubhub and I will never order Zack’s again. The Fries taste/look like they were cooked in old grease, the burgers taste bad the bread was soggy and the lettuce was brown and not fresh also the hot dogs were horrible. The chocolate milk shake arrived not covered. $50 down the drain

I was watching YouTube about burger spots and found myself excitedly awaiting my order at Zacs! A place that is well known for their menu around my area and tbh haven’t been to in years. I broke that timeline by bringing my boyfriend and I to Zacs to order a wickedly awesome burger…. Extra cheese, bacon extra fries onions, mustard and of course pickles with some cheese fries. Everything came out just how I remembered it as a kid and it still stands out as one the best places to go to and their reputation still stands with many more establishments. They grew and grew but have not stayed away from their style. The burger was great, the fries are down more straw style and are crispy and I got cheese to match it. Prices are affordable and staff were pleasant and quick. Highly recommended!!!!

Picked up an online order before going to the Flyers game. When I got there we realized they shorted us two burgers. Nothing we could do then. Good thing is we spoke to the manager and he made good with a refund and a couple extra bucks. Next time we have to double check our order before pulling out of the parking lot. Lesson learned!

My wife and I were trying to figure out what to eat for dinner but we wanted something quick and good. We ended up stopping by Zac’s and we didn’t regret it. We ordered cheeseburgers and spicy fries will all of the toppings you could think of. I will give the staff credit they were patient and figured out a way to change our order to the spicy fries. The wait wasn’t too long and the atmosphere was ok but needed to be cleaned. There was a good amount of crumbs and trash on some tables and chairs. The food was good and reasonable, we were able to enjoy it once we arrived home.

First time at Zac’s. I can honestly say that this is the best fast food I’ve enjoyed in a good while. Food was freshly made, topping were crisp and service was also great. My husband got a hot dog and devoured it in seconds. Said it’s the best from a fast food place. The wings were amaze-balls. Honey Garlic wings are a must try. So good I bought another order to take home as a snack . I pass bye this place too often. But not any more. Be sure to be back soon.

We took my besties daughter to Zac’s for her 8th birthday lunch it’s one of her favorite burger places. She told them it was her birthday and the awesome team behind the counter surprised her with a chocolate cookie and a plate that said Happy 8th Birthday and she was so excited Thank you so very much
