We came in to have tacos, after our last bad experience at a different taco restaurant and Gosh this place blew our taste buds! The carne asada tacos were fantastic! As compared to other restaurants.

Can’t think of a reason to remove a star. It’s not gourmet food, but it’s as good as an authentic Mexican meal can be. Drinks were excellent too. They serve large portions at reasonable prices as well. If I lived in the area I would go more often.

I didn’t eat a full meal here, but the complimentary chips and salsa were solid — chips were great, salsa was a bit watery but still good. It’s free, so no complaints.
Do yourself a favor and get the skinny margarita without mix — seriously good.
The staff is unbelievably nice and genuinely helpful with recommendations. Customer service is excellent. I haven’t been here when it’s super busy, but you can tell these folks actually want to give great service and have the patience to do it.
This feels like a 4.6 to 4.8 star-type place. It’s attached to a hotel, so the décor and ambiance reflect that, but it’s still pleasant and comfortable.
Worth stopping in, even just for a drink and the service alone.

For a Mexican restaurant in South Dakota it was actually really good and surprisingly actually had spice like a regular Mexican restaurant should. Now I know South Dakota is not known for anything called texture or spice but it was good. Now the margaritas or something to be greatly desired I actually don’t think there was any alcohol in them whatsoever. Luckily they were only $4 now I don’t know if that was a happy hour price or what but they were good for $4 but not for $4 with alcohol.

My fiancé and I were in Rapid City for a mini vacation. This was close to our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Lane was our server and he did outstanding! Portions were HUGE! Food was delicious. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Drinks came out super quick. Food, as well, and was piping hot. Well worth the money! Oh and they have a salsa bar, as well! If I could rate this restaurant more than 5 stars I would! Definitely a must if you’re visiting from out of town!

Had a fantastic dining experience thanks to David! He was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, had great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The food was delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does. Definitely one of the best service experiences I’ve had in a while. Will be back for sure

This place has descent food and a cool atmosphere but the service wasn’t so great. We ordered drinks to start: a sunset margarita, pink Cadillac Margarita and a Corona. When the margaritas were served to us it was very clear it wasn’t what we ordered. The server took them and immediately took them to the correct table which was gross because we had touched the straws and my daughter even touched the line that was on her glass. Minutes later he brought us two more margaritas so as a precaution I asked what the name of the drinks were…. He commented, “What you ordered!” Then walked away…. Right there he screwed himself out of a great tip. The chip and salsa was good and the food was ok. Nothing to brag about!
