Every time I visit Port Arthur for the Gun Shows, I have to stop at my favorite spot Lubys. This Lubys is always a 5 star experience. The Cod Fish was fresh, the bacon cheese steak was delicious, and a friendly staff. If your looking for some down home cooking stop by.

The roast beef was very tender and had a very good bold flavor. I liked the texture of the potato salad but my husband thought it was a bit chunky.
The corn was really sweet and tender. The green beans were tasty and the garden salad was fresh and crisp.

I’m giving it 1 star, because I can’t give it zero. I haven’t been to Luby’s since I was a child. This food is an assault on flavor and taste. Everything is cold and bland. My mom had to ask them to microwave her plate.

So super AMAZING! Best homemade taste. Super clean dining room, service was kind and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about dining out, thanks to Mr. Benjamin Booker GM.
