PLEASE GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY!! This is some of the most delicious food I have ever had. The lovely workers will help to clear up any questions and will even let you try some of the food before purchasing! I got myself the goat and this is some of the most flavorful meat I’ve ever had and it was so soft! Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming here more often!

One of my favorite places to eat from. Definitely give it a try. While I enjoy the food, I do not enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service is really good and they’re willing to serve you, but for those who don’t know Spanish, there will be a bit of a language barrier. Be prepared to point and maybe use hand gestures to indicate what you want or need. Not saying this in a malicious way, but the language barrier does annoy some customers from what I’ve seen when waiting for my food.
FOOD: I LOVE THE FOOD. when you walk in if you go straight ahead, you’ll see the “ready-to-serve” food displayed behind the glass. There’s a server there to serve and pack the food for you. this includes different types of races beans chicken done in different styles, stewed, oven roasted. They also have different types of beef and oxtail. Towards the end, you’ll see types of salad, potato salad, and maybe some pasta, depends on the day. You can also order items to be specially made that are not on the ready to serve menu things like fried chicken chunks or steaks.
ATMOSPHERE : the people are wonderful and very eager to serve, but the music is way too loud for a normal afternoon. It is so loud you cannot hear yourself when you’re talking to the server you will have to yell which does not help with the language barrier. The lighting is kind of dark and inconsistent, even the parts where people are staying and dining in. It should be a little bit more lit up, not like a nightclub. They do have dance nights but I’ve never attended. Definitely go and try the food!

I am writing this review because the person before said to give Cafe Dominicano a try – and I’m sooooooooo glad that I did! I ordered on UberEats, so I have not been to the location, but the food was FANTASTIC. It was fresh and tasted like what my family would make back home, super comforting. If you’re looking for authentic Spanish food – this was excellent!

By far the best Dominican food in Atlanta. Family of 4 and we had Mofongo de Camarones, Bistec Encebollado, Camarones al Ajillo and Pernil. All of us agree that you only get that quality of food when is home cooked. It was AMAZING.
The owners son him self made sure that we had great serves we I greatly appreciate.
Left this for last for a reason.
I have never ever had such a good Sancocho WOW!!!!! That was so good. IT’s too bad I was traveling from out of state otherwise I would be there today and tomorrow for that Sancocho.

The food is good, traditional Dominican meals that I grew up eating. Plenty of seating and friendly staff. I was there around 1:30pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was half full, so that’s a good sign that people like the food.

Food is good, and the variety is great. Watch out for automatic service charge… it was 2 of us and the check was a lot more I was expecting, when I checked the bill, they had added a service charge “tip” of 18.00 on a 40.00 bill. I told her to take it off, I decided how much tip I give. 1/3 on tip is excesive.

I am going to give you my honest review. The food here is awesome when you catch it fresh. This actually started to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I’ve since stopped coming here. First fault they try to overcharge you due to the language barrier. There was only one lady in there that was amazing. She always delivered service with a smile and charged the right price. The atmosphere changes when you walk in if you are of a different race. The tension in the air is amazing. I’ve walked out several times due to being ignored while waiting for service while management running us outside begging us to come back in. Like I said honest opinion food is good when it’s fresh and not sitting there all day but service horrible. Such a shame hought I found a gem.

The food is good, not excellent. Is highly overprized. The women that serve food, she think she is a jocker, and in certain way disrepectful. I not recommend this place, unless you want to spend the double of your money in food.
Like we say in PR, Debut y despedida!!
