I Ordered 7 Vadapaw and told the cashier that please make sure everything is fresh and he was very confident that yes everything is fresh. I also mentioned that these are for my guests who are not indian. and as soon as i opened the paw was very old. you can literally tell the difference between new/fresh paw and old paw. In video as you can see new paw shouldn’t be like this. it supposed to be soft and cant be like this. I was very confident and yes i have had nice and good vadapav before. way better then Jaybhavani but my this order i can say this was worst then Jaybhavani. ridiculous. All my guests took one one bite and i had to throw in garbage. I sould have checked it. before i leave and thats the mistake i did. If i have checked it at that time. I would have returned it and get my money back. not worth it. when you have your guest trying indian food 1st time you get this its very upsetting.

Totally disappointed. We came here first time as lots of friends suggested but when we tried to order Rava masala dosa, it will take 1 hour and no any kind of dosa available except plain. Also when we tried for Chinese, not available. Couple of other items also not available. No cheese dosa for kids. Weekend and disgusting service. Because of kids hungry,
Only ordered Idly. Sambhar having too much tamarind.
Not a good Indian restaurant. I won’t plan to come again.

Neehee’s is a family favorite! We’ve tried so many things here and always keep going back. My go-to’s are the methi gota, dosas, idli + medu vada, pani puri, mango lassi, and falooda! On weekends they make fresh jalebi that my family LOVES!

The food is always flavorful, portions are generous, and the vibe is fun. The staff is really nice, it’s clean inside, and the overall ambiance makes it an easy spot to enjoy. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fully vegetarian restaurant with tons of variety!

⭐ 1 out of 5 stars

I visited this restaurant and ordered a dosa, but it came out extremely crispy — almost overdone. When I asked about it, the staff told me I should have mentioned my preference beforehand. However, there was no note on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant saying we need to specify how we want the dosa cooked.

The service was also quite poor — instead of helping or offering to replace it, they just blamed the customer. Very disappointing experience. Good food presentation doesn’t make up for bad service and lack of communication. I wouldn’t recommend unless they improve their customer handling and clearly mention these details on the menu.

If you’re craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine, Neehee’s is the place to be. The Idli and Medu Vada were perfect—soft, fluffy, and served with a rich sambar and coconut chutney. The Chole Bhature was another highlight, with perfectly fried bhature and a flavorful, spicy chole that made each bite irresistible.
Their Aloo Paratha was wonderfully stuffed, crispy on the outside, and paired with yogurt and pickle that elevated the flavors. And for something light yet refreshing, the Bhel Puri had the perfect balance of crunch and tangy zest.
Every dish is made with care, and the service is warm and attentive. I only wish Neehee’s would open in Cleveland—this place would quickly become a local favorite! Highly recommended for anyone near one of their locations!

Food was good. Chinese items from the menu were not as chef was on break during both of our visits.

I would like to say this was my first time having a dosa here and probably the last time because it was so thin and crispy felt like I was eating a papadam to which I shared with the staff and cook to which they started blaming me for not telling them to make the Dosa softer! It always bugs me that restaurant have zero customers hospitality and service. I have been to many restaurants and staff goes above and beyond to provide quality service and leave customers satisfied but absolutely zero hospitality at this place no communication skills whatsoever so yeah I don’t want to pay and get treated the way they did so never coming back to this place!

Neehee is by far the best Indian restaurant in the Chicagoland area.

This all-vegetarian, café-style eatery offers an impressive variety of flavorful Indian snacks and meals. We tried the masala dosa, paneer chili, Hakka noodles, thali, vada pav, and mango lassi; everything was bursting with flavor.

The dessert selection is equally impressive, featuring desi ice cream flavors, live jalebi, and more. It’s a vibrant, delicious experience that offers great value for money.

Highly recommended!
