Overall rating around 3.5 for an Indian restaurants. Upon entering the vibe was missing. Food quality was plus – ordered prawns biryanee – which essentially was pulav and not biryani. Food was okayish – and bit pricy compared to other Indian restaurants. Close to 21 Euro for what I ordered. Came with raita. Service was 4 on 5. Atmosphere was too normal compared to the price of the food. The only benefit Is accessibility which is grabbing more walkin.

Food was good and service was good. Hyderabadi biriyani was not Hyderabadi biriyani as I’m from Hyderabad 😉 but biryani was good. So overall it was a good experience. Staff was very polite and good.

Been here twice for dinner. Food is very tasty. Chole was very good. Naan was fluffy and very well done. Salt lassi is also super yummy. Staff are also very friendly. They can make it Indian spicy if you ask. Food here is authentic which means it will be on spicier side. If you let them know they can make it to your taste.

We visited Munich for six days and tried all sorts of cuisine, museums, tours and experiences. I found the Royal India before we travelled to the city and was very keen to try it, having found several highly rated restaurants in advance. We had fantastic Vietnamese, German and Italian food during our stay in lovely restaurants with friendly hospitality. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with The Royal India – the evening began with a very bad first impression, it wasn’t very welcoming and the waiter who came over to our table refused repeatedly to give us tap water for the table and insisted several times that we could only buy bottled water, even though ‘tafelwasser’ was very clearly available on the menu. I asked in English and German and there was no misunderstanding. Another waiter took over and was much more helpful and pleasant. He said tap water was fine and brought it with our other drinks. We placed our order and asked for mild dishes due to my sister’s dietary requirements, the food was very tasty but certainly not what I would describe as mild. (I spent two months travelling around India so I certainly don’t have an overly sensitive palate to spice). We did not grumble about the food because by that point we just wanted to leave. The experience was unpleasant from the beginning because of the very poor attitude of the first waiter, and it was not a nice atmosphere. Sadly the only negative experience of our otherwise wonderful visit to Munich and Bavaria.

I visited this Indian restaurant with my girlfriend, and we had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The service was just as impressive. I especially want to mention Sahil and Rocky — they treated us both with great warmth and professionalism, making us feel truly welcome. We’ll definitely be coming back again.

Came on a holiday with a group of 7. Enjoyed palek paneer, mutton briyani, fish tikka, butter chicken, rogan josh and mango lassis. Everything was amazing food wise. Meat was tender, curries were flavourful and perfect with rice or naan, and drinks were sweet. Service was impeccable. Thank you to Sahil for your excellent service and attention.
