Hungry for a good time? Learn my story. I opened my restaurant (some call it a dive, but whatever) back in 2011 for two reasons. I wanted the good people of Fairhope, Alabama to have a no frills place where they could kick back and enjoy an afternoon or evening of live music, lively conversation, and killer grub. Also, I needed a place to smoke and serenade my delicious bacon. Located on Highway 181 Bill-E’s is where locals and vacationers alike come to throw their cares and their diets to the wind. I welcome you to do the same.

This was our first time, and pretty impressed! My husband heard on the radio this was the place to go for great burgers and honestly true ! I got the Swiss mushroom burger absolutely delicious!!!! Very Juicy, thick, and full of flavor,not a dry or hard piece detected ! Haha and my daughter said their mac and cheese was pretty good too! I really love the nature outdoor vibes as well! Also saw they do live singing , so that’s a neat touch too! Definitely will go again in the future!

Pickle spears were great, bacon and fries were delicious, loved the atmosphere and the live music. The burgers were good, I expected bananas in the bananna pudding, our daughter loved the brownie! The staff was friendly and loved that the manager/ owner maybe came to talk to us at our table.

We live very close to Bill E’s but have never eaten there until recently. I love a good hamburger!! By the appearance, this place is kickin’. Always full parking lot, great menu but friends are kinda mixed on the food. So, husband & I finally decided to try it. Husband got a shrimp po-boy and I got bacon hamburger. We were NOT impressed. I guess I was expecting a thick, juicy burger covered with the bacon that Bill E’s is known for in this area. What I got was what looked like a pre-formed, thin piece of charcoal that kind of resembled a hamburger. The bacon was underwhelming, not crispy, just limp. What husband says about the shrimp po-boy isn’t fit for print, but when the dog wouldn’t eat it…well, that said it all.
Now, look, we probably had an “off day” because many people LOVE this place. Our experience wasn’t even warm *(food cold too)* so we won’t go back. That was one expensive inedible hamburger.

Love this place! It is definitely one of my regular lunch spots. The Comeback Chicken Sandwich is insanely good! My other favorites are the Pork Belly Bites Trio, Pork Belly Sandwich, and BLT! The atmosphere and service are always great. The live music on certain days is an added bonus. You’re definitely missing out if you don’t give Bill-E’s a visit!

My hubby and I stopped here for a late lunch and we really liked it. The burgers were very good and good sized. They ran out of fries, but let us choose from any sides with no upcharge. I had the onion rings, which were cooked perfectly and there were plenty. Service was great and we liked that the background music stayed in the background where it should be. We did have trouble finding the main entrance, but wasn’t a big deal.

Been here several times and always good. This particular visit we had a party of 12 coming from Mobile, including a family of 3 visiting from the Philippines. The service was exceptional, everyone on the staff was friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to our server, Cindy, who made the whole experience that much better. She was fantastic. Food was tremendous as always and everyone enjoyed the ambience and setting of the restaurant, of which are seen in my pictures. Appetizers like the pimento cheese and pork belly trio are crazy good. Burgers are some of the best! This is a great, fun place to take a group, it never disappoints.

Some say atmosphere at an eatery isn’t important, and it’s true I’d rather eat good food prepared well, rather than mediocre food with something to see and hear. Bill-E’s give you it all! Our food was delicious, hot, and timely. The hodgepodge kind of decor with in and out eating options was fun and added to the experience. Staff took time to chat as well. Our server was top shelf. Thanks for the great experience!
